Or would you rather the DEV's give you the all famous SOONTM message?

I'd rather they communicate openly and honestly.
They don't.
So threads like this happen.

The fact you have no idea about the exploits shows you have no idea what the hell you're talking about and lack complete understanding of why it was removed in the first place.
It was removed because when mechs fell they warped all over the place and were not registering damage when shot. That's why it was removed. They fixed the dragon so it didnt knock everything over. After that people stopped complaining about knockdowns within of itself. With of course the exception to the guys who commonly do FF and pay no attention to where they were going.

1) Because I've learned that screaming on the forums doesn't actually make the devs change anything. In fact, considering that in the last "Ask the Devs" they also responded to 'are you listening?' with (paraphrased) "Yeah, we see how often a topic comes up" it tells me that the enraged details are likely dismissed anyway.
2) I've seen what happens when PGI rushes a fix...it's often worse that what we had to begin with. I'd much rather they take extra time and get it right.
3) From what I've heard of the closed beta, collisions had some serious issues. I think it'd be an amazing part of gameplay, in particular changing how lights function (I think that there should be serious damage penalties for running your tiny mech into my assault while circling or attempting to run 'through' me) and so I understand that it'll take time to approach the issue from all the angles.
4) This game is fun, but there's a lot that needs fixing, and I can accept that it's difficult to prioritize adding in a new feature that will likely bring more bugs with it and is incredibly complex above fixing other stuff that'll be easier that's already IN the game and currently bugging.

If you're so angry and disgusted, why don't you just leave? Honest question.
Continuing to be involved with something that angers and frustrates you makes you appear a bit mentally unstable. You do have a choice in all this, you know?

What? seriously? They arent exploits though, collisions were exploitable but those arent the problems.
Just for fun lets define exploit: "An exploit (from the verb to exploit, in the meaning of using something to one’s own advantage) is a piece of software, a chunk of data, or sequence of commands that takes advantage of a bug, glitch or vulnerability in order to cause unintended or unanticipated behaviour to occur on computer software, hardware, or something electronic"
Using lights to knock down lights: how is that unreasonable? Your team has a light fall down too and its perfectly within the bounds of the games rules.
Knockdowns breaking locks: Again, how is this unreasonable when your mech falls over you lose control of it and cant fire any of the guns, why should missile users get to maintain a lock through that when laser/ballistics users and forced to reacquire their targets.
the exploit was dragon bowling which was addressed and wasn't really an exploit either, it was a quirk of the dragon to be considered 100 tonnes for the purposes of knockdown because fluff. Which was removed prior to knockdowns being removed.

Let me tell you something else.. EVen if there was no warping , weight issues before with collisions... what they implemented still sucked. .
IF what they come up with is anything like what they had before<WITHOUT WARPING ETC> then these guys really just dont understand combat.
No sh it we dont want what we had before, thats obvious... WHats insane is that they are saying at least another 7 months.. THats just lame... sorry.. but it is..
THey better have something golden planned,, but u know what? i Dont think they do.. I mean who would release a COMBAT game with collisions implemented.. AFTER launch..
Maybe they should take on interns from highschool and can actually get something done..
Still hiring... laughable.. sry.. its true.

Up until open beta, I kept watching streams (and reports on the forums) where people where either troll knocking there own teammates en masse, or kept chain knocking people down for "Fun" with out actually shooting at them. The bugs associated with it only made these things worst.

Because he thinks if he screams loud enough, the devs will somehow magically give him what he wants.

Where they screwed that up was using the engine rating like the TT.
The 400XL engine (also impossible) knocked over everything not an Atlas without falling over and even then that wasa hit or miss.
At 300 ratings the dragon got knocked around like everything else.

Nic, I think for the most part they do, but a lot of it isn't communicated well. I think that they are pretty much for the most part open and honest with what's going on. However, abbreviated messages and issues they have are not spelled out fully to the community's satisfaction and that has been a problem. If the DEV's would do a better job taking the time to communicate these problems they have, or information they give out, I think it would make things a heck of a lot more easier and we'd eliminate 99 percent of the repetitive threads.

People seem to forget just how bad they were when they were in game. I'm all for them if they're fixed, but not how they were.

Yea, Garth needs all the help he can get in his Cicada. You don't want him to keep falling all over the place as he runs through the legs of those Atlas.
How can you not know that the Cicada is a medium, and not a light?
