ONE mech and ONE weapon for every gamer.
And for every mech the same engine, same hardpoints, same headsinks, same speed and so on.
So no one has a better mech as the others. Now only the skill will give you the win of a match.
..... ups, now we have to NERF the skills.

What worries me, to be completely honest, is that when clan 'mech/tech gets here then everything will devolve into MechWarrior 4... meaning something along the lines of a lot of heavily armored speedy light 'mechs w/ hardly any weapons at all playing capture the flag against Dire Wolves who sit at their base and wait to one shot anything that dare move into their line of sight, including other Dire Wolves. And on the other matches it will be similar to the NovaCat 4 we're starting to see today.
(not saying that's how it's going to be, I know PGI can solve those things, it's still on the top of my brain about it.)

That was 2 patches ago..
Better Idea:
Make ECM what it's supposed to be.
Keep missile damage low (buff it a tiny bit)
Speed up the missiles so they don't need to be boated.

Indeed it was. And LRMs were widely used. I wonder how people forget that so quickly. They were used, they worked, they killed. Staying in cover also worked. I think they were perfect up until that bug...

destroyed **** will have to be rebought, damaged stuff repaired.
properly implement salvage! core a mech take it's expensive weapons.
