I would say a Stalker 3F with all L Lasers, maybe a few ER. That or 6 PPCs.

It has more fire power than a poptart highlander. It also can take more of a beating usually because of the way the body is designed, making damage spread to your side torso's easier. Just make sure you have coolant and good aim.

I myself run Raven-3L with ECM but I'm not certain that it is the best tool for the purpose.

Anything fast and reasonably durable with good close-range firepower.

Bad writing, over-complicated mythos, and direct-to-syndication television just not being as profitable as it used to be.

My JR7-F seems to do quite well against the pop-tarting highlander snipers. Up close they waste most of their Gauss ammo, and the PPCs don't hurt, ERPPC's do, but the closer you are, the harder it is to track and fire accurately.

Now that depends on the highlander, doesn't it?

Double Gauss Jagermech. Hide behind a hill, snipe the pop tarts when they go into the air.

Stalker no question. But as said above stalker is probably the best killer of any other mech save maybe lights in the game.

A well coordinated team of anything ;)

1:1 ... it comes down to skill, dps vs armor, and range

stalker hands down

they have small profile size. and they only have to poke out 1/6 of their body to do damage.

Anything that can get up close and stay there. The poptart has great alpha, but the DPS is lacking and the heat build up is high, so not only does he have long cycle times, but his heat will force him to be careful with his shots.

My Muro eats the things alive.
