What's interesting is that the OP lists poptarting as a reason to get rid of bases, but that one of the most effective countertactics to poptarting is to bypass the poptarts in their static position and cap the base, forcing them to abandon their poptart position or lose. I guess I can understand that from someone who just wants the game to be rockem-sockem-robots, though.
