I would imagine it will work in other games, it will be recognized by a computer as a traditional HOTAS type (granted the screen wont function)

The screen might still have use, such as what you can get with the screen on the Logitech keyboards, and with the drivers, other games will easily be able to support it.

Yeah, not really amused at all. The controller looks pretty cool, but 1 its still just a concept, and 2 not gonna buy a control for just 1 game.

How the last 3minutes of my life went when looking at the countdown page.

"Ohh 1min left on countdown"
"20 seconds!"
"3...2...1..."
"Page reloads..."
"stares...absorbs what my eyes are seeing..."
"hope fades"
"Dissapointment sets in"
"Closes page and comes to forum to express dissapointment"

It'll be overpriced, very narrow in usefullness and a giant pig to get out and put away whenever I play other games, no thanks.

That pretty much sums up my feelings. Though add "Turn back to work computers" to the end.

I thought it would be a live streaming show from E3 or an Online Mechlab integrated into the game or at least a bunch of new mechs...

That would have been pretty cool

Does this tell us that "tear away" cockpit monitor displays ARE possible? If they can put the radar map display on that monitor, what else? What about additional displays/devices.....????

All that, and it's not even ready for sale yet? Just a concept????

Super Fail.

There is a colorized model of the controller on the Razerone.com website. Green and yellow.

Where did you see this?

To be honest I am disappointed as well. I heard rumers about a controller possibly being made but to be honest I was hoping for a Comstar Terminal version 2 or a Warhammer. By the way, what happened to static.mwomercs.com anyways?

I don't get why anyone's complaining. After all, if you don't want it you could just stick with your mouse/keyboard setup. I would probably get it, but I've never played on a joystick before and will likely do terrible if I do . I find it nice that they were able to partner up with such a big company; it bodes well for the game's future!

This... I don't see why anyone should act as if PGI owed them something.

Dunno... I like the idea... many long hours spent playing in the BattleTech Centers back in the "day"... main screen with the radar screen below that...

Def going to be keeping an eye out when they release the Artemis controller... already setting some funds aside and will most likely purchase when it's available...

I have tow Razer products. Both work great and have for over 2 years. Three of my friends also have Razer products and have had no complaints.Anyway I love the way it looks. I will probably get one for my birthday. Unless I am able to afford it soon.

If they want to put us in the cockpit they'll have to make it a whole lot more extensive that what it has in concept so far. Including foot-pedals.

I'm getting it!!! Are you guys kidding me? It's a free game (normal games cost you about 50 bucks) and charge 10-15 monthly fee! That means that you'll get it in less than a year... so (if it would be 150) it is gonna be mine(screw that, I'll even buy it when it's more) ! Love it, TY! I was soo happy with it I think I pied a little... .

Ppl is complaining about the waste of the "viral" / countdown, that could be has used on a far better announce of some funcionality / mechs / whatever ingame, not for a periferical controller "concept" that knowing the mark and their usual prices will be outside most of our gaming's budget.

Its ok if you like it, even better if you can buy one, but for a F2P game, to buy a controller for 200/400 $ ( or € ) will be a huge sink in your wallet, unless u are rich ^^
