its not the final design and configuration, but should still be able to show us more than the video.

I would have preferred Logitech. Razer products are a bit...pricey. I can't speak for their quality since I've never owned anything from them.

I have a Black Widow and Naga and have had 0 issues with them. As much as I love them though I doubt Artemis will be in my price range sadly.

As many have said I love the idea, I got a Logitech 3D Pro for MW:O.

But, I don't know Razer's quality, too bad MS doesn't make joysticks anymore loved the Sidewinder, FF.

That middle screen, if it were touch or something useful for commanders etc because the radar is basically on the screen already. Taking your eyes off the action could be deadly.

And price, this thing looks to be at least $250, considering the screen and FF. A bit much for a F2P game without incentives.

Good idea still needs some tweaks to get it people to buy IMO.

Looks cool, not sure about Razer. But its nice to see a company show interest in a game.

I'd rather custom build my own control rig.

-central map would have touch screen capabilities so that painting targets would be easier
-slider to determine speed output and switch to determine forward/reverse
- horizontal roll wheel to spin the upper chassis
-pad to lock/unlock equipped weapon systems, and sort them out
-BIG RED MOTHER F'ING BUTTON FOR COOLANT INJECTION
-standard joystick layout for manual targeting and firing
-extra micro screen for zooming in without messing with the monitor screen.

Razer! There is nothing wrong with Razer. I have found their quality is excellent, and software second to none. They have been kicking a lot of goals with their product line up in the last year or so, can’t help but be impressed. If you have had problems than I’m sorry. But I’m sure razer would replace your faulty product.

Any way i think the controller looks great! Maybe just option the extra bits. Just split it into 3 parts that can lock together. Sell the joystick, keypad and screen add on separately. Also I think it would be a great idea if instead of having to buy a screen people can interface their iPad or Tablet into a dock on the middle section, then download app to make it all work.

Can’t wait for the game, and can’t wait to see what they do with the Concept Artemis controller.

I really don't like the screen but everything else is pretty awesome. Also, not sure why theres some razer hate. I have never had a problem with razer products at all.

I hope that screen does not give people a real tactical advantage.

Not a whole lot of point if it doesn't...

I don't understand why people expect to play for free AND have a level field. Simply does not compute. The company has employees and running costs - somebody has to pay for that. If someone pays up, they expect something for it - this is called quid pro quo.
Now if they sell cheaper items that give no real gameplay benefit, people will buy them for giggles and to show support. If they try and sell branded hardware (which most people will already possess in some form or other) then it damn well better give an advantage. Not a total 'I win' but people expect a benefit from shelling out larger sums. Even if it just makes controls easier and more instinctive, that in itself is an edge.

Sweet Kerensky, I have not bought a new joystick in the last 13 years, the microsoft sidewinder forcefeedback 2 was always enough for me but...this is magical.
