now you just gotta let me know what I gotta do to get one of those Awesomes...... (and the K2. ah hell,... I wants em all!)

You're not the first to ask me that. I wish I could sell them I really do, but i dont want any trouble with PGI or Topps/catalyst. I dunno if there is a loophole I could exploit or something I'll look into it. but dont get your hopes up.

The highlander 732 has 1 gauss 2 ppc's and in the left torso 1 srm 6 and in the left arm 2 srm 6's

The catapult K2 has 2 ppc's 1 gauss and 2 med lasers

The awesome has 3 ppc's 1 small laser and 1 streak srm

The raven is a regular 3L cheese build

After tonights patch i'll be digging through the stalker files in the hope of finding the stalker has had its weapon models upgrade (considering we should be getting misery tonight and that has a gauss in the picture)

Well, it is still more expensive. And besides, nothing prevents them from using 3D printers themselves, anyway.

Sorry for the slight off-topic, Sentinel.

3d printing is slow, and not practical for mass production, its good for prototyping. Just curious what is the maximum output dimension of your printer?

They turned out great Sentinel. Very impressive. I quite like the fact they are clear, looks good. Looking forward to seeing them painted.

another question (since 3D printing is constantly cited as slow and inefficient) might be are the models able to have traditional molds cast off them, to be cheaply knocked out in the old fashioned plastic/ lead / pewter style?

yes it is quite possible. infact most high detail action figures based on videogames nowadays are made using 3d printing and then making casts of figure parts. i however have little to no experience in casting models like this.

amazing. that's very close to the limit of fineness that us scratch-builder modelmakers are able to achieve, using .13mm plasticard, tinfoil, shimming materials etc.

The mechs look pretty good all cleaned up. Probably could benefit from some very careful surfacing work - but nothing a coat of primer or cyanoacrylate and some careful sanding won't fix.

Job well done anyway :)

Actually I kind of wonder if you could pay him for the materials and shipping and still technically be in the clear without any profit being made.

Oh well, if I had models set up for it I would order my own. Might have to give one of these a shot sometime.

People make stuff at the 3d Print stores for transformers or that are transformers all the time. Just post your models. Your not selling them after that (So there might be a loophole. You just can't sell it). Also do you plan on doing ball jointed ones? Works great for the arms and hips.
