He was an old Navy guy who led Clan Snow Raven through the golden age (for us anyway) of W!O as well as other leagues before and after. Unfortunatly I am hopeless with names but I do remember our saKhan RkAngel affectionatly called him Poppy. He was always cool, relaxed and good natured and kept younger hotter heads in line whenever things got crazy. He also had a constant stream of stories from his life. He died of a heart attack a year or two after we all left MW which came as quite a shock.

I knew some of the names listed here, like LadyViper and Neuromancer, but all of them, regardless of whether I knew them or not, will be missed, for we all shared a passion...

A dear friend of mine, and fellow B-Tech junkie like us named Steve has had a spinal stroke. He has been paralyzed and can no longer do much of anything. In fact because of this, I have decided, with his blessing, to take his main Mechwarrior characters name of Hunter McGee. I hopefully will be creating his old Mercenary Unit of ShadoWind as soon as the game launches. Depending on the mechanics of the environment of course.
Steve is still with us, and I speak with him often, but as far as the B-Tech world goes, he has passed, and I for one will miss him greatly.

That truly saddens me as he was a great person. I believe he had a daughter who had left for college just a few years back, I didnt know that his condition had worsened to that point, but it explains why he up and disappeared.
I will miss him.

Close friend of year 11 year who gave me my call-sign of Tsula "meaning fox in Cherokee". Proudly servered in the USN for 6 year. Thou I already played battletech, and mechwarrior PC game. With him and our small group I truly really started to love this game more and more. Sadly his passed happened so unexpected this past Sept. He is survived by his wife Edwina, and two sons Richard and Israel. I know he would have been so excited to see MWO, and I know he would be right here posting on the forums with me. Rest in Peace dear friend and I will see you in the great havens when my number is called till then guard the gates of haven.

No man is an island,
Entire of itself.
Each is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thine own
Or of thine friend's were.
Each man's death diminishes me,
For I am involved in mankind.
Therefore, send not to know
For whom the bell tolls,
It tolls for thee.
