Great job! Detail loadout view looks great.

But we should be able to add and remove weapons in that detailed mech view though. like this;
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...5d46eaf2dcda9cf

streamlined.
very simple easy to use. no need to switch between different components on the mech and reopen windows.

People who want to see their mech/add weapons to each part seperately can switch to the classic view like we have now.

Looks good at first glance, and a great improvement.

There'll be more feedback once we can get our grubby little hands on it, I'm sure ;)

Don't see anything in there about being able to manually sort our list of owned mechs. Tabs that break them down into pre-defined groups are OK but, with my list of owned mechs growing rather quickly, I'd like to be able to put my favorites where I can access them as quickly and easily as possible.

One other thing that somehow bugs me. Is it possible to give you the information what weapon (SRM/ AC/ LRM/ Gauss) has how much tonnage loaded? I really do not need to know where, i only need to know how many shots I have loaded if it will be enough etc.. It is a pain to recalculate by clicking/ glancing at each torso/ arm etc section.
That be all, can't wait.
Cheers
Daniel

Personally, i find that Vertical navigation bars should be on the right hand side, not the left.

I appreciate the fact that mechs will be easier to access by weight class/ chassis type/ name...
rather than scrolling 64th mech of 76...

but for now, yes, just looking at the pictures it actually looks more confusing,
opinion might change once we try it out.

not sure about flash animation either...

do we really need to compare stats, will this actually be useful for new players? or information overload?

PS:

is there a way to save configs... i like this config, but want to try something new,
but now i cant remember how i had it setup before i made the changes...?

PSS:
can we group our weapons before dropping?

looks amazing! my only request off the top of my head is can we please have weapons color coded in the mechlab (like smurfy does) purely cosmetic but honestly it makes it a little less drab.

clarification: when weapons are equipped to the mech they rather than looking like everything else they have a red/green/yellow (energy/missile/ballistic) outline, highlight or text color. I'm sure you are all familiar with smurfy by now which has this.

thanks for all the hard work and such a great game so far!

Yes. With a variety of filters. However, we should add the ability to mark as fav. I like this a lot.

I like it a lot. Gonna make the game far more approachable for new players.

My only complaint is that it took you this long to get it going. Some of the artpieces need a touch up with that cool mechlab, like the double heatsink. Color code the different types of weapons, to make it even easier to tell what's what?

I haven't posted all the screen yet. Inventory is one of the new screens in the works.

Please, for the love of god, do not make the social active with shift+tab. Not only will this seriously screw with anyone who uses steam for this(such as me) but it makes it more of a background feature. I want my chat to be always available, I do not want drop downs. I want chat rooms and clan channels, with the ability to also PM. This game absolutely relies on teamwork, and the social aspect of it should be fleshed out and upfront. It should be simple and better to run with a group, even a group of random people you find in a channel. It shouldn't be something you have to go out of your way to do. That is all.

<p class="usertext-body">

Overall, this is progress, and it's nice to see that.

Two items I'd like to see incorporated into this UI:
  • Ability to Rename a mech. Where is the Rename button, which I believe we were told would be part of UI 2.0?
  • A way to determine at a glance in the mechlab (without having to delve into the individual mech screens) whether each mech has modules equipped or not. Perhaps similar to how in the upper right of the mech thumbnail it has an icon denoting Elited and Mastered status, in the lower left they could show an icon if the mech has any Modules equipped. This would really help cut down on the module hunting that occurs when you have a ton of mechs and can't remember which one has that extra Cap module you want to move to this other mech. Whether they keep it binary (icon shows if any modules installed, does not show if no modules installed) or it actually displays a counter denoting how many modules are installed, or it displays a 1/2 where the first number is the number of module slots filled and the second number is the total module slots available, any of those would do.

It's on another screen not revealed yet.
