Ah yes... my favorit mech. I fondly remember using this very mech back in 1996/97. Was battle chapion back then in a Stalker when I was playing MPBT. Can't wait to get back into my trusty ol rusty Stalker after 15 years of wait.

On the topic-o-reverse joints to those who miss the classic leg config, i shall explain myself.

i went with them for several reasons

1. i like reverse joints,
2. The original art and minis never really clarified which way the knees bent. Seemingly implying that they bent in both directions for a cartoonish wobbly walk.
3. People seemed to really like the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Stalker fanart and mektek takes on the design, which featured reverse joints.
4. a humanoid or wobbly gait animating under something like looks like well, a number of certain things that you wouldn't mention in polite conversation would probably look more funny than intimidating.
5. Instead of a fatapult, with normal joints you'd end up with a fatjenner, and i find the former more appropriate than the latter for an assault mech

This is what I think is best about your redesign. It feels ponderous, the sense of mass just looking at it is very strong. I imagine it moving with that same implaceable air of menace as an old ship of the line.

The Giant beast of a Mech makes a comeback from MW2, This mech was only in the MW2 Mercenaries(I think) game no clue for MW3(I never bought that one). Nice to see a mech from the past make its way back to MechWarrior again.

Anyone else in love with the giant turtle with missles strapped to its shell painted on one of the LRM's? LOVE IT! Makes me want one of these so I can have that decal in-game and name the 'Mech Genbu LMAO.

That'll probably be my pair of starting Mechs: Centurion and Stalker. Nice range of speed and power that'll be able to spread over various matches.
