  • BAP will only counter 1 enemy ECM 'Mech within its range
  • A Mech that equips both ECM and BAP will only receive the sensor range bonus and the ability to detect powered down Mechs from BAP. Other BAP features gets overridden by the active ECM. "
So just to check Beagle didn't lose the 25% to target info gathering?

to be honest, the PPC changes won't affect many...me personally i usually wait longer than 4 seconds between firing to allow for proper cooldown...shutting down at an inoportune time can be game changing...and not in a good way LOL :)

Looks to be a brilliant patch! Hope PPC's are continuing to be looked at, sure is a shame that in order to balance 6xPPC Stalkers my 2xPPC K-2 also gets the Nerfbat. Hope LRMS make a comeback and will help to counter PPC sniping! Also can't wait for the SRM fixes!

They said they were still working on SRMs in their offices, and they will release damage changes to them once they finish reworking the SRM flight patterns (according to Omid int he NGNG podcast #72)

Actually, they are working on a sliding heatscale that adds heat penalties to massive alphas, but the 3->4 second rate change was done irrespective of boating. They did that to make it more like the AC/20 and Gauss as the king of it's weapon class. The sliding heatscale will probably apply minimal penalties to firing just 2 weapons at a time.

Its not terf tbh, it takes 5s to recharge jump jets on my 3D or 732.
In fact PGI completely screwed up with dates, 4 or 5 month ago it was told that first phase of the global campaign will be in May...

a good patch...

one thing i dont really like though...why punish a already legged mech..its at a serious disadvantage as it is why make it even worse..i mean when you get legged you pretty much dead in few secs, with this change well you just stop playing when u loose the first leg..

i just feel its a rather poor change as it doesnt really balance out anything, it doesnt counter anything, it just makes it worse for a poor guy already in a very bad position...

I think yes bcuz it is overridden by ECM

The only thing worthwhile doing in this patch is take my triple UAC5 Jager and turn all those poor schmucks running Blackjacks into dust. 45ton Ballistics platform, muahahahahaha!

No, don't worry. If you have ECM and BAP at the same timne, it just means that BAP won't give you its 150meter protection from enemy ECm anymore. You can't run ECM in disrupt mode and have BAP act as a makeshift Counter mode. You still get the BAP;'s regular sensor bonuses, though.

Sooo No HSR on Serms yet? Damage still the same but you made them spread out even more? What the heck. if your worried about splash remove it, if there's a problem with that srm hitting the line where torsos connect have it just split the damage on both sides or write a line to flip the coin. Sorry but us mediums that pack SRM's for backup weapons have been gimped for a while. Do we still survive yeah but the hit reg alone against lights and all others is annoying. Guess ill be toting a Bap and streaks for a while. Bring on the CT damage!

Great Patch. All the weapon change sound awesome (although i'm still sceptic it is enough for mg) and i'm going to have a blast now.

Especially my Atlas K is thankful for the ams buff. :)

I somewhat agree. At that point, why not just have the leg blow off.
