Pre-patch - able to play all afternoon with no issues.

Post-patch - totally unplayable. Huge lag spikes for the 30 seconds I get in game before I get Session Lost and D/C'd.

Before patch some very minor rubberbanding. After patch - game unplayable due to connectivity issues. Ping reports slightly higher, but the amount of package lost is very much worse.

Before Patch: odd rubberbanding/snapping occasionally, average 75 ping.

Post Patch: some matches snap/pop/rubberband horribly compared to before patch. Average ping now: 150

Ping essentially doubled. FPS about the same average of 40.

Have the gameservers been moved to the ISS?
Game is unplayable that way.

Day one after the patch.
Same **** as yesterday.

Oh, and, i think this might be the change in the patch causing it

I guess it might have had the opposite effect.

Before patch average ping of 140 now its up to 140 in prematch screen and around 280 in match

really hard to do reasonable damage with lasers

Using LTE from germany oddly enough my connection got better today for everything else except MWO cause ISP brought a new LTE station online just 150 meters from my router.

Dear Developers,
after the new patch my game always crashes as soon as the game is about to begin. I do see the team, my mech powers up but then I get a black screen and am back at the start page. It happens on conquest/assault and any. However the training grounds are not affected. Also it doesnt matter wether I use a trial mech or an owned mech.

By the way, I never changed anything in my setup. Please, please HOTFIX this problem!!!

Chiming in here too. Ping went way up.
Normal ping is around 20ms. Last night I was at 120-180ms.

Curious though. Playing with other folks also in the Chicago area, they had the same ping they had before. This seems to be inconsistent.

My ping before the patch was like 50-80. After the patch, it has doubled between 100-180 or so.

I think there's some outside network influences at work, but the patch itself is certainly part of the problem. Chatting in general is delayed a lot longer and is noticeable for me in the game. It is not nearly that instant at all...

Yep, if I were a betting man I'd say whatever they did, as the patch notes say,"- Gameplay bandwidth costs should be reduced", had the opposite effect for us.

Location: Germany. FPS pre-patch 40-50 on min details, 25-30 maxed out. PING pre-patch 130-ish.
Post-patch: FPS 20 on min details, < 15 maxed out (even after application of the famed repair tool). Ping post-patch 300-350, significant delays with missiles and zoom (0,3-08 sec).

Playing Snow Forest Colony with my D-DC, disconnected from game and dropped back to client. Happened with my JM60-DD on new Canyon map as well.

Slight framerate drop, biggest problem is getting disconnected and sent back to mechlab minutes into every match. Already have support ticket, though, just a matter time, I hope..

Just dropped from four rounds in a row, at random times throughout the match. Connecting from Northern California, cable, Asus G73JH gaming laptop, Core i7, Radeon mobility HD5870. Have had no connectivity issues recently until this patch.

Framerate seems to have been improved from before, for me though. At least when I'm not being booted back to the client.

Wasting some premium time right now which is extremely frustrating.

My ping has approximately doubled, a fellow UK-based player I have been dropping with noted the same issue. Neither of us have made any changes, and otherwise game performance is unaffected (at least not noticably so). Consistant ping-doubling since patch, both days since release.

Win 7 64-bit, Core i5 3470, 8GB RAM, Radeon 6850

Was just playing and my ping, which was up to 7000 !!!, was showing in the area of 2000. Still taking a long time to load map, lots of rubber banding and warping. Seems most of the folks I was dropping with think there is packet loss in general. Funny thing is that in the end game summary my ping is shown as 176, which is about normal for me.

Unplayable and begging for help!

Same problem with latency.
Had no connectivity issues before this patch. After patch got delays and even picture freezes time to time.

No tech problems from my side detected. Network connection is stable.
Normal ping before the patch was 100-140
