Can you please clarify the relationships between the houses and merc corps?

Are Merc corp actually working for the great houses or are we taking contracts from non-players.

How does the relationship between, mercs and houses benefit the Houses? Do the Mercs gain any advantages to working for a house besides C-bills?

My question is in regards to the soundtrack we will hear as we fight.

Q: What style of music can we expect to hear as we battle? Will it be tied to the way a map "feels", or will it be dependant on the type of mech you pilot? (ie. Lights have music that is quick and energetic/Assaults have music that fit their inevitable footfalls of doom)

As for the MWO progresses, would we see progression of history as it was written in BTech Universe playout, like Clan Invasion a year from now if the timeline you have this started for it.

Secondly, for the mechlab, does it have repair/customization timesink for making changes for outfitting the mechs, like replacing weapons with different weapons? Like for example, Taking a Hunchback 4G and changing it to Swayback HBK-4P.

Thirdly, for fights, is there travel involved from one planet to other, or it is just jump in? Let say, you are on Northwind, and you need to travel to Capella to fight. Is there travel time involved or you just jump into it? I like to see some balance between player's patience and the reality of the travel.

Fourthly, what is the plan for number of mechs you plan to introduce, since I figures you might be shooting for around 16 to 24 at launch, but considering there is huge variety of mechs, how many do you plan to introduce and what progression and plans on introducing the additional mechs into the game over time.

Fifthy, after each combat, will there be salvage that can be divided among the victors? Plus for the losers, do the mechs get lost of it is still retained, but in damaged state, that they have to repair it before they go back into battle again?

Sixthly, how many mechs can a player own in their stable? Since from what I seen in the MechLab, it look like you can have up to 4 from the looks of it. So many can a person have in their possession, and if the mechs have to travel from one world to other to fight, would there be travel costs for it?

Lastly, the Founder mechs, are they going to be the origiant varient to use, or we have option for other varient for pick within the chassis for the Founder Mech. Let say, I go for the Catapult, do we get CPLT-C1, or we have option to choose the varient, like CPLT-C2 or CPLT-K2. Same for the other 3 mechs in their respective weight category.

Ok, a couple of questions, and if these have been answered previously apologies.

Q: Will there be an option to custom design mechs, or at least custom retrofits of existing chassis?

Q: What ruleset is being used as the basis for the game mechanics? I may be showing my age here but I used to play the original tabletop game (liked it much better than D&D that everyone else I knew seemed to be playing) and have been waiting for a PC version for almost 20 years now I guess.

1. Can you elaborate on matchmaking options? If my buddy and I want to team up and play against others, can we do so in random matches (being paired up with another 2 for our lance)? What about in planet attacking deathmathes? Would Merc or house alignment influence who you can team up or play against?

2. What can you tell us about the maps? How many will be at launch? What kind of environments do they have? What is the ratio between open area and close quarters/urban?

3. From a technical development standpoint, what is the most difficult aspect in adding in additional mechs?

My wife and I will be playing together, she's command and I'll be defending her, Our stragety needs a scout, to be able to find the mechs, so she in a catapult, fireing missles, from "safety" does the command mech, need to be in the middle, or just have computer connection to the scout, like they can be close, to other mechs? or do they have to be the middle?

Are dropships going to be purchasable, as a true mercenary I know I can get more contracts if I own a dropship (and it means I am not at the mercy of the bandit rulers....sorry I meant House Lords)

Let's try a mech design question. This has been circling around my brain for a while. How much variation in mech acceleration and torso twist is there between chassis of the same weight? For example; let's say that I reeeeeaaallly wanted a Charger, so I took an Awesome and thew in an LTV 400 engine and swapped out the PPCs for a bunch of Small Lasers. great, I've got it! Now you go and introduce the Charger two months later. What are the differences between my knockoff and the real thing? I hope that there are plenty!

Will the unique paint scheme on the Founder 'mechs be changeable (not altering the unique scheme itself but to change to our own color customization) or are they locked?

I think the biggest thing on most peoples mind at the moment is the beta, and conflicting information is being fabricated and sent around in assorted threads, so a simple list of information would be nice:

Is "Founders early access" early access to the open beta, or the full game? If the latter, then will there be an "open beta" at all, or will MWO effectively go from closed beta to full release sometime in July?

Aside from needing custom drivers to get that thing to work, how would you even hook it up to your computer? It was on the original Xbox.

Original Xbox is just PC. You can using VTCS with MechWarrior 3 and MechWarrior 4.

From what i surmise you will get a code for a founders pack, are you able to buy multipull founders pack and apply the codes to your account to gain all the founders mech? pokiemech, gotta collect them all....:)

What's the difference between an omnimech and a battlemech in MW:O considering there seems to be so few limitations to the mechlab, that the limitations that are there may aswell not be?

Since Armor is doubled, will the amount of ammo/ton will be increased too?

When will there be a fixed statement for EU Servers and Founder Packages there?
I want to buy a package, but due to previous negative experience with MMOS EU Support I want definit answers before I invest my Euros into MWO.

If so: why?
And how much Time would lie between US an european launch?
Where will the servers for EU-Players be located?
