Hey PGI, the gauss in a atlas is in the right torso, not the left.

Didn't see that one coming.

Still, I'm good with it. it's a great, classic mech, and adds some more mobliity to the Assault class. Rock it.

Outstanding. Jumpjets or not it's a 64 kph assault even with a stock or std engine.

actually something I'm willing to pilot.

Poptarting isn't going to be such a big deal after they add Jump jet shake, and add the heat penalties for firing to many boated weps at once.

GREAT MECH CHOICE PGI!

The unit, from the emblem on the Right Leg, seems to be the Davion Heavy Guards RCT (with the emblem as depicted in this post by Hayden).

I hate to parrot so many other folks, but I really like the art direction of mechs in this game. I think they are fantastic. Definitely need to include these into design images into the UI or the website or something. They are too nice to let them languish in old forum threads!

I love the art but it's not the Banshee.

A shame they are going to paint it solid green when they sell it to us in a few months...

I'd pay a little extra for that paint job...

I'm neither thrilled by another "robot-like" looking mech nor in the hardpoints suggested by sarna. It looks like 1 missile, 2 enery and 1 or 2 ballistic. At the end of the day I'll reserve my opinion until I see the actual type, number and location of the hardpoints. At first glance though this is like those top 20 countdown shows you watch and when they finally get to #1 you're like "that? Really?"

Kudos to FD, nice artwork!
Otherwise, sigh, no Zeus, no Mauler for me B). Another poptart incoming. I don't like that choice of 5th IS assault.

Hmm, the artwork looks great and i'm sure the vic is a stylish mech with a lot of character. But, apart from that, i think the Banshee would, for the reasons already mentioned, have been the better choice.
Especially since you can pretty much emulate the victor with a highlander.

Not all variants... The Victor will be the only assault mech able to mount double of triple Gauss Rifles or AC/20s. That makes it very unique, you know...

I hope it's head isn't as big as it looks in the concept art when it launches. Aside from that looks to be a fun mech! I just hope they find a way to tackle the prominence of long range combat before it comes out otherwise it'l simply be another pop tart sniper and nothing more...

Well, unless there is a variant with ecm (VTR-10L) and a variant with at least 2 ballistic slots , not in the same section, this is a slower , heavier centurion that jumps ... but if it did have at least the 2 variants mentioned it would be worth having other than for nostalgia and the lore....

WOW! Well well done Mr. Iglesias!
By far, it's one of your best redesigns. Bravo!
