I built my mwo machine earlier this month
A-10 6800k
MSI FM2 - A75mA MB (30 dollar instant rebate at microcenter )
MSI 7790 OC video card
16gb Crucial Ballistics Ram
Segate Hybrid 1 tb hard drive
Nice HTPC case (since I use my 47inch led-lcd LG 120hz tv as a monitor)

I run the game at 1080p at very high settings and get 30-60fps.

The richland core rocks man, don't hesitate on it

I like aluminum cases. I've never had a chance to own one for myself but they're definitely great.

Max price? I bought a pc for $700 sounds like alot but it isn't. It came with a 1080p monitoer, keyboard and mouse. Specs; i5-2320 3.2Ghz, 7350HD(swapped for a 7750HD $80), 1 TB WD caviar black, 8 gb ddr3 133Mhz. I can run any game currently out on ultra at 30fps. This is an acer pc who i would reccomend you buy from. I was going to build my new pc but didn't feel that the hassle was worth the 100bucks or so i would save. Here is one direct from acer - http://us.acer.com/a...el/DT.SNFAA.004 (find a monitor and keyboard and mouse and you can game no problem. High or ultra)

Guy got it from Tigerdirect, Here's the Link: http://www.tigerdire...p?EdpNo=1389580

Edit: Starting to get second thoughts on this case. it's in Cambridge, not on a bus route, he won't deliver, never gave me address yet for me to give my sister in law to bring me to pick it up, i need just the case so he need's to gut it first that won't take long when he find's the time and he's leaveing to go to his cottage tomorrow.

I know you this is a little bit more than your budget, but if I really had to budget below $600, I'd buy something like this :

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1i7wk

It is a little bit more, but this is a really solid setup and is pretty basic and allows for expansion on your 970 chipset mobo. MSI makes quality parts and so does Corsair. If I was building my own, nothing would be used because someone might of tried to make their own, break it, and resell it after they learned how not to mess it up.

Wish you the best of luck.

OK People, part's is figured out, just case I need set in stone, so please stop recommending builds!

That Thermaltake Armour should be ready Monday or Tuesday, he'll be back from cottage sometime Late Sunday evening, I'll keep my eyes open and ad up on Kijiji till then to see what other options would present themselves.

Edit: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 will cost $90 and will be delivered Saturday the 27th

Worst comes to worst you can always grab an old beige case out of the recycling and drill a bunch of holes in it for airflow and add some mounting points for fans. Then you just need a couple rattlecans of paint and you're set.

Got the GPU Today, EVGA 560Ti 2GB GDDR5 VRAM, Cost me $120
So I'm $150 into the build so far, will be getting the AMD FX-4100 + Coolermaster 212 Evo Cooler + Ceramic Thermal Paste ($60), Case (Thermaltake Armour Aluminum gaming case, $30, Likely to Change, We'll See) and likely will be picking up a copy of Window's 7 Home Premium 64 Bit ($105+Tax) Next week, Last part will be a Mobo, will be getting a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 (New or Refurb, Was RMAed, Still Sealed) for $90 Delivered on Saturday July 27th.
Edit, Just put a Ad on Kijiji that i'm Looking For a Brand new, Never used Copy of Windows 7 Home premium 64 Bit for $100 or less to stay in budget, if I were to get it from Canada computers I would be over budget by like $10 or so.

You really only need the license key so if you know someone in the states you trust you could always just buy a copy and have it shipped to your friend. Not sure if the price would be any better with the currency conversion and all that though.

Does that mean I can just use the W7 on my Laptop HDD without installing W7 Again, just use a new Licence key for the Mobo?
Edit: this is the Old Computer computer I Mentioned a few pages ago I could likely get for free from my sister:
http://h10010.www1.h...2013.html?dnr=1
on site it says "NVIDIA nForce 430 Chipset" on the case it says " Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 6150 SE"

You would have to call The windows Activation crap, When I Ghosted my old 80GB onto my WD black 500GB, I had to reactivate, and When the MOBO is switched due to it blowing up it can cause this problem also.

You really should do a clean install since you're changing everything else in the system but I suppose it's possible you could change the license key with the administrator's cmd prompts assuming you can get the old windows to start after having changed everything the disk was connected to.

What I would recommend is that if you have a new license key you burn the install disk to a flash drive and do a clean install from there. Also installing from a flash drive is much faster than a DVD so the install won't take too long.

**note** I didn't need to reinstall windows due to the 80GB being very clean, Performance will always be better on a fresh install..........friends don't let friends bog down their new rig.

I've OC'd my FX-4100 to a stable 4.2 GHZ with an Antec closed loop cooler - awesome, max temps have been 52 deg C.

I had multiple fx4100s the first one didn't make it out alive....Despite what people will say I will not be hitting 1.5V on a 2 module FX, That particular chip has a very comprehensive log(results table) of clock speeds from 3.6ghz=2.97 stock to 4.92ghz=4.01cinebench11.5, voltages, ram speeds1333CL7-1600CL8, Air cooling and Liquid cooling, all documented.....that chip was Solid stable @ 4760mhz, @1.373V on my Asus M5A97EVO on air(CM212+push+pull), I didn't bother to push harder for everyday OC due to the low volts(low temp too) and high clock. But I had all powersaving states off, and VRM in bios set to EXTREME,FULL OR MAX, Set it and forget it around 4.2-4.4ghz on stock volts. That Cooler will own the heat.....specially if you are not overvolting much.
