I think it would be silly to not let spheroids use clan mechs... However, I wouldn't be surprised if the mech themselves are pure tech.

How would you sell a mad dog (vulture) if I can just use clan weapons on my catapult.

Also, coolant flush was mentioned in the novels... No mention of 3rd person view though...

Also;

Clan Lawn Gopher

Depending on how you look at some of the Level 3 stuff, it may consider 3rd person view. I'm referring to Enhanced Imaging, Direct Neural Interface, and the Virtual Reality Piloting Pod. With the first two maybe not but definitely with VRPP.

Now, for a creature actually from BattleTech...

Clan Nolan

"For millennia, humans believed in the existence of demons and devils. For hundreds of years after the advent of modern science they lost this belief, having proved that such creatures belonged to the realm of myth. Then humans landed on Engadine, and suddenly nobody was so sure anymore...

Towering a huge three meters, the bipedal nolan certainly qualifies for the role of living nightmare. With four arms ending in giant claws and a mouth full of poison-dripping fangs, its appearance alone makes even seasoned hunters freeze in terror. In addition, the nolan's almost impenetrable thick hide is constantly adapting to its surroundings, completing the image of a supernatural beast. Unlike the demons of myth, however, nolans seldom hunt alone."

God I feel old. That show was awesome. I would always rage at the participants because half of them seemed like they couldn't Indiana Jones their way out of a paper bag.

SOO OLD!!! When did this happen!?! Damn time, it keeps on slipping. Into the future.

Clan Nervous Gerbil

Why's he nervous? Is he in Richard Gere's house?

Also, Clan Honey Badger

CLAN IRON MANATEE

That is the GREATEST PICTURE EVER!!!

Also, Clan Hoopsnake

For those who don't know, the Hoopsnake, like the famed Drop Bear, is one of the many deadly Australian creatures, categorised by its ability to loop itself into a circle by placing its tail in its mouth, thus enabling it to roll after its prey. They generally live at the tops of hills...
