I bought a 3050 holo back when they first were sold for new years. It kinda sucks that they are for free now. I think PGI should have made a new cockpit item for this challenge.

An item that you have to buy with MC (and Is supposed to be a limited time purchase) doesn't seem as cool when everyone can get It for free y'anno?

The challenge isn't over until 10am pst friday

Getting 25 means you qualify for the reward, guessing it will roll out with the update, once its finnished

I found out what I was up to, slacking from work and joining the challenge. I gave myself a 3 day suspension WITH PAY. I am not stupid...

I have to say, the teamwork has gone up significantly during this challenge, that or I have been lucky as hell on my pug's.

I had just finished grinding up for a Orion. I had planed on taking a break, but then this challenge was posted. I want that hologram, so I'm playing matches. The carrot on a stick is very effective way to get players online.

One way this could be improved is with a teir reward system.

Example:

Win 25 get a cockpit item
Win 75 get a mechbay
Win 100 get a mech

I just threw in some desirable rewards, but they could be anything. Some ideas for rewards, could be C-Bills, MC, premium time, paint colors, etc. The idea is, players would get more rewards based on how much play they put in.

This is a huge step forward. It reminds me of the extremely popular quest lines for events in other MMO's, where you can score a free pet or other vanity items.

As we don't have quests in MWO this is how I can see similar events pan out. Would fit perfectly into the achievement system as others have pointed out.

To those who already have paid for a 3050 Holo as well. You can never have too much fluff. Each mech can only equip one, and more mechs are always on the way. You will forever have more Holo's available to equip than those who got them for free.

Kudos PGI, now I just need to actually win 25 matches lol

Victories are great, but lets run some challenges that encourage players to work as a team. So many derps last night.

- 50 Kill assists
- 30 Saviour Kills
- 50 Spots

Conquest
- 20 base defends
- 50 caps

etc etc

Then maybe some cheese ones just for fun...

- 25 Headshots
- Shoot off 50 components
- Kill 10 ECM ravens with streaks (payback!)
- Leg 10 atlai
