I suck at lights and mediums, so i let my buddies do the scouting and harassing.
Then, the enemy is running, scared, tired, damaged, confused.
I cut them off, Alpha Strike, and blast them to bits.
We then All high five and I(theoretically) treat them to drinks later.

I read this thread and am floored. 90% of the ppl are all yea in my med clan whatever id beat your a$$. Guess what? No clan tech here and IS plays a whole lot different. any vet from TT will agree and tell you the same.


edit: also dont come at me with "yea but when clan tech does get here" I dont give a crap. It isnt here NOW so shutup about it. thx

I just checked the Ryoken on Merc 4 and it is pretty respectable.

personally a fan of lighter assaults and heavies. mostly the madcat, vulture thor and awesome. may try the atlas though to see how they did it up. never was a fan of the atlas though. now if there was a Daishi...that i would.

Now a uller for a light mech would be fun.

Founders mech I picked was the Catapult, so I'll be spending a lot of time in the heavy class guaranteed. Presuming the clans come along in a year, I'll be ontop of a Timber Wolf faster than you can say Kerensky.

How much time I spend in an assault is dependant on what assaults we get access to. I plan on acquiring (and wish i could have picked it for a founders mech) the Awesome. So, I can guarantee some time spent there.

If there's an Enforcer available, I'll probably spend some time in a medium.

no real plans to play in a light, but I could see popping into a commando for some missions if I absolutely had to.
