Gimme a Locust and a bottle of powerthirst and you've got one crazy recon mech going on.

I want my Summoner...but forced to chose a light I also favor the Mist Lynx

I'm looking forward to scout (Raven I hope!) and heavy mechs myself. I just hope there will be reason to have balanced teams else everyone will be in assault mechs almost out of necessity.

Timber Wolf...you dont need anything else :)

Vulture is nice too, if they make it right.

I was always a fan of the more mobile heavies. Eridani variant Thunderbolt, Grasshopper, and even the Victor fit the criteria well. We'll have to see how they introduce the clans, but the Summoner was always one of my favorites, and I'll undoubtedly be returning home to the Jade Falcons once they show up.

I'm a support person all the way, so I love the Rifleman, Blackjack and Catapults. I'm not good at getting in close and playing slugfest. I like to stay back and offer fire to help my lancemates.

S-cat, Bushy, Strider, or assault.....makes no difference to me as long as I get to actually pilot a mech again.

My prefered ride since MW2 was the Timber Wolf, but I'd also pilot the following:

- Linebacker
- Mad Dog
- Ice Ferret
- Pouncer
- Adder
- Kit Fox

I prefer mediums, myself. (Seems like a lot of people do!) I miss my Uziel, but with the time progression for the game, I don't know that waiting 10-15 years for it is the answer. I'll have to find myself some other medium chassis to lurk around in.

Whoah there, horsie! My concern is about people who don't read. "It's pay-2-win." and "I'm gonna pilot a Mad Cat."

General Internet posting before thinking is what I was commenting on. But it's true that illiterates are here to stay. Just wishing out loud that 1. some people would do research before posting; 2. that more people understood the glorious fun that is the originating strategic board game; and 3. that the Unseen would make an appearance (particularly PXH-1D Phoenix Hawk), but not likely.

Buddy, I've actually done a lot more research into this than you think, so if you smashing me, back the **** off. One of our merits in order to join the Clan Wolf that I fought alongside in an older, now probably dead league, you had to KNOW the history of your clan, and especially the history of the Wolf's Dragoons.

Wolfhound and Panther. Nothing like eliminating the enemies' recon units in style. Of course, I'm praying for my Charger-1A1...and for about half the ground vehicles in TR:3026. I doubt either are likely to happen at any time near launch though..

Actually I think the post was referencing everyone who is planning on piloting a clan mech at launch...

Though out of personal preference, one of my favorites, was either the summonor (thor for all you freebirths out there) with dual PPC's for extended behind enemy line runs, the Uziel, along with the cougar. Though I will say, it never gets old, watching some cocky pilot try to *** rush you in a mech that about 30 tons smaller than you, and you put him on his *** with an LBX AC20 round. :)

I will use something as light as the Cougar, but I also enjoy using the Madcat, Timerwolf, Shadowcat and Thor. Not a big fan of using assault Mechs.

Personally, I've never been one for Assault mechs. They always seemed too slow, and too much of a target. Let someone else plod across the battlefield in that Atlas(and get shot at by everyone and their grandmother), I mostly stick to medium and heavy mechs.

I am. With the option to customize the armor and loadout, I'm happier piloting a medium or heavy. It can be a little tougher to play, but when you drop that Atlas it's pretty rewarding

Although assault mechs are useful, I dropped a weight-class or two during my last year playing MW4 and am quite comfortable in those roles. I sure hope that this game will bring back the glory days of Meching.

Cheers
