I can't wait to rock the battlefield in an Assasin. I cant wait to rock the battle field in any weight class as a matter of fact :-) Someone mentioned something about sissy's? Well id say that anyone who only rides into combat in an Assault is the sissy ;-) Any one can survive in an Atlas, but can you survive in a Locust or Stinger? :-)

I a hoping for a medium or maybe heavy with blazing speed. Wraith would be ideal for me, pulse lasers and insane speed!

Heavy and Medium mechs have always been my favorites. I love a medium range brawler with some decent speed.

Ach... Assault's should be given to novices who need that kind of armour and protection (and end up being a sitting duck). I like how some of them look, but would opt to pilot something else.

I'll get the assault mechs i want but mainly I want to have a middle of the road heavy or medium mech that can be long range and or direct fire. I want a light mech because I also like how they are.

I die too quickly in an Assault 'Mech. Give me a heavy or a medium. later on in the timeline the Madcat III is one of my favorite clan designs.

There are only 4 mechs I ever use.

-BJ-1 Blackjack
-SHD-2H Shadow Hawk (latter the 5M model)
-CN9-A Centurion
-DRG-1N Dragon (Later the Grand Dragon)

Thats it.

Notice a trend, I am a AC fanatic. Great rounded weapon, decent damage, good rate of fire, ok ammo capacity, and great heat use.

Hmm...well I really liked the Zeus, but mostly the one with the feathers. Though I spent most of my games with heavies, sometimes mediums. Really depends on what they build though, I like a little of everything.

Now that I think about it I had a mech built on an Adder/Puma chassis that had 16-18 flamers. I'd honestly be okay doing something like that again.

Playing MW:4 Mercs, I've come to prefer 60-65 ton heavies
Especially the (Grand) Dragon :D

However, I also like the Highlander...

Depends on what the game is like and what is needed by the team for the mission - I tend to like particular mechs rather than a weight classs.

Ill say this... I love my atlas and I love my fafnir (and my akuma, banshee, devestator, and awesome), but I also love my catapult hunchback griffin wolverine and dragon just as much.

In fact, I'm thinking that ill probably be playing there hunchback more than anything... I mean who doesn't love an ultra 20 with jump jets??

I have loved the bushwacker in MW4, and centurion in the MW2 Mercs game. I usually prefer a huge array of medium pulse lasers in MW4, so in this game, maybe a few groups of mediums. (since Pulse lasers shouldn't exist yet?)

I want to see how the game plays, see what Mechs I like in this game, and find a good setup heat/damage wise for a role, and then train and specialize in that role.

but yeah, the 55-65 range.

The Rifleman, Ostol, or certain blackjack variants might be up your alley. If you'd like to go a bit heavier the Flashman(http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Flashman)seems like he'd be an excellent fit, too.

well if they really manage to make a serious commander mode, and make scout mechs really work, you will see me pilot something smaller than assault..

but if i can make an assault mech that still functions as the best command base, then it's going to be a toss up for me... between speed, or armor and support weapons... and that will depend on how the engagements are going...

The lack of Bushwacker is saddening, but I do see a few keepers.

I'll mostly be piloting Archer, Cataput, Raven, or Wolfhound. If I happen to be on the Trashborn team, I would love me some Puma or Uller.

It's probably got more to do with the fact that the Bushwacker gets produced in 3053.

I miss jumping around in my Javelin (4 med. lasers and increased armour varient), shooting heads off an atlas (MPBT), or rumbling up the table with a Hunchie with an AC/20 in the same game:) I loved the MPBT game because it employed old tech, and you had to watch your heat, or became a stationary barn to which even I could hit:) People with alittle patience and knowing when to alpha strike made that game alot of fun cause a cagey light mech pilot could take on a much heavier mech and win, because it was more then just firepower, it took skill! No real disrespect intended, but double heat sinks took alot out of the game in my opinion, one could still overheat but the tollerences were much higher, and the firepower would just rip up lights super fast (I am looking at you MW4:P). It sounds like they want to do some super cool things with all the classes, so I am pretty excited about this whole thing:)
