Guys, please stop complaining. They already gave us 2013 September Creative Director Update.

http://mwomercs.com/...mber-17th-2013/

They are taking off the Beta moniker off the website/logo.

what happened to better communication promised with the changes to the forum?

this game is a joke, i'm half tempted to ask for a refund on my project phoenix for lack of communication. they want our moneys but don't want to tell us what is going on with it. just promises of things in the future.

PGI is da most communicative developer around, didn'tcha know?

They put Chris Roberts to shame.

guys, they probably all took the day off because they worked on July 1st (Canada Day), don't expect anything today.

Oh, I'm not upset by any means.

I stopped expecting anything from PGI months ago. :)

only 23 days more left in July! So your torment will end eventually. I guess they're figuring since they promised a lot this month and they tend to under deliver they're gonna wait until the next patch notes to disappoint rather than do it too early in the month.

Also

Don't forget both Paul and Bryan were on vacations in June... they probably had some catching up to do before Bryan could post a July update... I'd expect something later this week if anything.

Because it's too hard for someone not of their creative and intellectual superiority to make a July creative update for the forums.

All of you people better be more patient, damnit!

Also, June ended over a week ago. I would be even more confounded(Nah who am I kidding they can't confound me any further) to find out it takes someone 8 days to catch up with what's going on.

In their project.

That's not even to say that we don't even know if vacation lasted up until the last day of the month.

That should not matter. If someone in my office wanted to take a couple weeks off they don't get a free pass when they get back to miss a deadline. They knew that the vacation was happening and that the update should go up around the first patch of the month. If it was unexpected like a relative died I would not care the slightest about the delay, however there is no indication of anything like that happening. Not posting any information about the update over a week into the month is just irresponsible and if I missed a deadline like that in my office I would be reprimanded for it.

I hate to say it, but "Information is ammunition". Any information they give us becomes ammunition for us to shoot them back with. Were bound to complain about something they say, so I would imagine that they are just being careful about anything they say at all.

Yeah I understand, however Its unfortunate that you can simply state the company name to explain the situation. You know something needs to be changed when your name has a stigma :)

Its similar to Valve when it comes to game delays, where they have taken it to the extreme with "Valve Time" compared to normal time.

Agreed. I was strongly thinking of buying into the Phoenix pack but decided to hold off and see what July would bring. Boy am I glad I did.

Edit:
Also, we have a thread going over here asking where the update is at. Needs more attention!
