Jumpsniping is still viable, but the skill threshold for using it effectively is a lot higher. And it leaves snipers a lot more vulnerable to counter-fire.

you are complaining about a little bit of reticule shake and then saying we are the ones who can't aim?

as far as i can tell my jenner shakes much less than my catapult, although i did look at my build again and noticed it only has 2 jump jets. i may have to add more.

As for the recent changes to jump-jets; reduce the shake to a point where everyone can agree it's not nauseating. The reticule movement is fine, just reduce it in parallel to a reduced shake.
The random deviation of weapon spread should be removed entirely. This mechanic is a complete disregard for pilot skill/aim. Since when does a ballistic weapon not fire straight? If barrel is directed, and fired at one point, how can it possibly veer meters from that point? This type of RNG ruined the competitive scene of Battlefield 3 - when they introduced a similar mechanic with suppression. If someone is able to target a specific mech component with the jump-shake, they deserve to hit that location, not miss. Pilot skill should be paramount.
This.

Stop using JJs. Problem solved.
Simply amazing how simple that solution was.
Yeah I know its crazy, but people put JJs on things that aren't poptarts. These mechs take a hit with the JJ nerf. I run a jenner with like 3 of em and the shake is kinda nauseating. I have used them since closed beta when there was the light leg bug. The slightest tap wrecked leg armor. Using JJs was crucial for protecting the legs. They are still useful for this same function on large drops. However they are really annoying to use now. I also seem to have some video tearing that accompanies the shake. I didn't like the poptarting thing so overall I'm mixed on this change.

PGI might have more of a problem when there is discomfort when playing. I didn't have any before, now I do. It could be very harmful to some. I'm sure PGI does not want to here about that.
Jump higher
Wait for shake to settle and shoot on the descent.
Higlander aim shake still keeps within an assault mech silouette at brawl range you just cant be picky about sections
As for the shake it's no worse than an ac boat pounding on you but if you insist that aspect could be lowered
