Looks like they went with the 4G, 4H and 5K.

Curious to see the hardpoint differences between the 4G and 4H, considering their stock loadouts are identical

Probably more energy hardpoints in the arms for one (to offset the 5K having more energy hardpoints in the torsos) and more missile hardpoints for the other...? :)

Im kinda confused... The 4H and the 4G are the same essentially. The only difference between the two is that one has the SRM4 mounted rear instead of the 2 Medium lasers... I had to check Sarna to make sure I was remembering correctly lol

The drab green isn't doing anything for it... Although it looks bad on most 'mechs in pictures.

Shame they don't give pictures of the 'mech reflecting the concept art (Alex's work is just impeccable).

looking at sarna this mech won't really add anything to the game unless its really fast. unless it can hold a 400xl blah, won't see me buy it looks like 4 eng and 2 missile or 6 eng and 1 missile are the 2 configs u can get unless pgi tweaks it some.

QKD-8X makes its debut in 3073.

Also, a hand-held AC/20 would weigh a minimum of 15 tons (14 tons for the gun, plus (at least) 1 ton for ammo), or more if one wanted additional ammo or any armor to protect the assembly.

The Quickdraw, as a 60-ton 'Mech, could only lift up to 6 tons, or up to 12 tons if (like the QKD-8X) outfitted with TSM; "Per the ’Mech Lifting Capabilities rule, a ProtoMech or ’Mech unit may only carry a single Handheld Weapon that weighs up to 10 percent of the unit’s own total weight (20 percent, if the unit mounts operating Triple-Strength Myomer)".
It wouldn't be able to carry an AC/20, in any case.

Damn. Thanks for clarify.
So, i'll keep waiting.

A 400xl would be quite ferocious.

Although, with max armor and the 400xl, you'd have 7.94 to spare (10.94 with endo).

Game can't handle MASC yet. Without MASC, the Flea is pretty much DOA

With each Quickdraw variant coming stock with a 300-rating engine and the engine restriction formula allowing for a 1.2x multiplier for Heavy 'Mechs, the upper bound for the Quickdraw (barring it being quirked higher, like the Centurion... though, that would have it stepping even more into the Dragon's realm) is a 360-rated engine.

Those antenna give me a idea for a hero mech: QKD-LBFF
The Quickdraw Little Bunny Foo Foo
Well the idea I had before that was a reference to Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross but that would just cause another Unseen situation.

Your going to be waiting a long time for a non timber wolf clan heavy... as its already been stated by a dev that they would consider themselves idiots if they didn't make it their first.

The thing that's got me most excited is that cockpit view. Looks pretty wide and spacious.

This is the only thing I can think of. I was looking over the variants on sarna trying to figure out PGI was going to load this out. I assumed six weapon hard points like the catapult and dragon. But that would leave the 4G and 4H exactly the same. Maybe they will have seven or even eight hard points with a set up like you suggested.

Maybe there will be other differences if they do not have extra hard points. Like the max number of jump jets, ability to have ECM, modules slots, a second AMS point, or even different limits on engine ratings. I only mention ECM to cover the bases. I don't think it will be equipable at all.

Your guess is as good as mine.

I wonder if we'll actually get decent arm/turning movement out of it? After the Treb and its lackluster performance it seemed like the arms should almost be locked in. Give us Hunch and cent arm movement on this guy.

The actual statement from Russ Bullock was, "I think we would need to be brain dead to not want to sell Mad Cats to players. We have design and balance issues to figure out but we will get it sorted so players can play as the Clans."

It should be noted that the statement in question made no indication of release order for the Clan 'Mechs; the Mad Cat could just as easily be the last as it could be the first, or it could come anywhere in-between.
