Hot from Engineering:

This change is expected to reduce overall bandwidth costs, improve the increases in ping users have been experiencing, and as a result expected to improve hit detection via HSR.

Please update us with any issues you may see after this hotfix since we are unable to test every type of connection and some users may not see a benefit.

DOWNTIME BEGINS - JUNE 20 - 10AM PDT. DOWNTIME END ETA: 11AM PDT.

See you starside!

EDIT: And we are back up, enjoy, everyone!

Well, the title of the thread contains the words "JUNE 20TH 10AM PDT". If that's not clear enough for you...

Looking forward to testing this fix. Hope it works! No more stinkin' lights bouncing my AC/20 rounds like toilet paper rolls.

Leg hell iv had shots go straight through shutdown mechs and hit the terrain behind them/sail into the distance when trying to core them.

That too. I just got out of a match where it took a Jager with dual LB-X took 3 shots to leg the guy I was working on. Even if the target was shutdown.

At least to Matt Newman who had the balls to say we need an update on these kind of things, that things didnt make the patch that in hindsight really should have, but i guess getting the QD out and its MC camo sale was more important than a playable game.

Sounds great. Dont be shy about adding updates everyday. No reason to wait until every other Tuesday. A ping update is especially welcome. Thanks

I havnt noticed any undue lag but alot of others have, but hit detection went out the wendow. (this morning I literally blew through a stationary commando , we both had pings below 50) but sounds like it will be fixed tomorrow. Now if only we could only work on the quickdraws thunder thigh problem. (Well actually hes pretty husky all around but yeah)

6-7pm BST 5-6pm GMT (for those in the same time zone that don't have summer time advance) 7-8CET or CES if there is such a thing. :)

Usually ping around 110, be intresting to see if this improves
