feels much better , ping was ~180 up to 240, now ~120 up to 140 and the hit detection is better

It's worse.

Also I'm now not able to check my FPS - pressing the F9 button does nothing...epic fail.

I'm in a DDC Altas - at point blank doing damage against a hunchback with an AC20, one medium laser a SRM 6 and a SRM four - all were on target (at least it appeared so and with the latest Ballistic host rewind I'm assuming so) so why was the hunchie only yellow ALL over? I repeat...at point blank.

And yes, I've mastered the DDC.

They said they disabled F9 in patch notes.
Ping was about 250-300, now around 160-180, should be at worst in the 60s usually around 40.
Playable but I see very slight hiccups a lot.

Apparently to introduce new features to replace the current FPS display.

Result for me;

Better. Not 100% perfect, over the course of about 10 matches last night, I had maybe 3 or 4 shots that clearly hit but didn't connect, but that's a massive improvement over this time yesterday. Nice one.

It is WAY better than before, but not 100% :-) but keep on going and we get there eventually.

It was a blanket fix to combat hacking. The FPS counter also had the X,Y coordinates of your mech, which players were able to use to search out the RAM the game was being stored in.

Im finding it better than prior to the patch, a lot less ghost mechs so far.

worse for me... ping went up 2 - 5 but at the same time only 1 out of 3 erppc shoots seems to hit :D

F9 has been removed as it doesn't fit the current meta...

Meh, the patch increaded my ping from 80 to 130 average. this hot fix has only brought it down to mid 90s. I'm still up 15-20% from last week. :|

not to mention the horrible HSR hit application problems.

Results: negative
Teleporting, "session was lost", no hits registration, lag, heat of mech late, and manny more problems
Guess I need to wait next hotfix :D

Edit: Well my problem is solved, it seemed that I had a internet connection problem now is ok even better than before, hits registration is way better, good job :D

Game become totally unplayable for me - I have been playing MWO for practically a year and had stable ping 200-250, right now, after this "HOTFIX", my ping is 450-600, it is impossible to play even with LRM/Streaks because it is impossible to get target locked on - locking cycle never ends. Thank for this "improvement", also after in match "session lost" I was unable to log into the game for and hour or two because of network error. And yes, I have changed my DNS, ip, /flushdns and etc.

Didn't notice a huge change, but I only played a few games. I'll drag out my laser cat tonight and see if it feels any better. However, it certainly wasn't any worse. No disconnects and ping was in a normal range for me.

Fixed the problem for me - ping is back to normal 70-80. On a side note, hit registration is still as broken as before.

people who are having problems should try a clean install of the game. Lots of times some patches will do weird things and if you are of a minority that is having issues try the reinstall route.
