Alright, something happened. All the sudden my hit detection issues came back again. Last night I managed to get my autocannon hits to register on moving light 'mechs, but tonight it's much worse. What happened?

That was my experience as well. The evening after the patch things were great. The next evening things were wonky again.

Been watching rounds pass through enemies tonight in a number of games.

I am in the UK with a ping of approx 115.

Is it just me or did HSR actually take a hit with this patch?

I Noticed Lasers specifically for me now stopped registering hits properly like it used to. I'm back to having to aim in front of my targets with my lasers. Strange because Missiles and ballistics seems to work fine.

It might also just be a problem with hit detection feedback?

Same, had it all weekend, including shooting a commando full in the face that was running straight towards me, and doing zero damage. Twice.

Before the patch I had a ping of 150-180. Now it's back to what it was at the start 110-120. So for me it's fixed.

I tried this really evil Cataphract 3D with 4 PPCs today. On River City Night I managed to leg a Spider trying to ninja cap the conquer point at our base, but after that things got ugly.

That spider ate a whopping 20 (TWENTY!) PPCs to Torso and the remaining leg, with clear hit registration watchable from my side. But the thing simply refused to die.

WTF is STILL GOING ON? As mentioned before HR is the bread and butter for a shooter type game. Things like this shouldn't happen at all this close to launch.

im having the same issues as the last couple posters, the day of the hotfix things were fine and by the next day things were a lil worse, then the next day a lil worse and it has degraded daily since then...

My ping is overall better and things run smoother, but the broken hit registeration still gives me trouble.

HSR is still broken this patch. lasers are doing grazing damage despite 100% on target hits. i think its even worse on players with notably higher ping like me. ppcs register around 75% of the time, uacs only 50%..... so i completely moved away from those weapons for now. the only weapon besides missiles that seems to be registering properly is the gauss rifle and ac5.

I'm getting no hits registered on stationary targets occasionally as well.

Mighty frustrating. The game should not be a lotto on whether you're going to do damage or not.

Edit: playing from Australia, ping has been about 250ms from the first day I played, about a year ago.

My ping is usually 50 - 100 and I'm having a horrible time with this, so it's more than just an issue of high ping.

my ping used to be 20-30. then it went to 50-80. the day of the patch back to 20-30.now 50-80 again.
when i am in a match with high ping players my hits do not register as they should. ie: as7-k vs commando. me (as7-k) ping 40. Commando, ping 240. commando approaches head on and straight at me, 2 LL, 2 ML, 1 AC20 and SRM6 + artemis. all hits on the COM-2d according to my reticule at 200 yds or so. It keeps coming Long story short. The COM-2d killed me. End of the match it says i did 91 damage. I am not the greatest player but I hit that thing over and over and over again. It wasn't even trying to evade. Weird right?
I sent an email to support but was sent a ticket closed response after the patch.

I've actually notice my ping go up as well in the last couple of days. Now it is staying around 60 instead of the lower 40's to lower 50's. But hey 60 is still pretty good :P.

Lag was momentaraly fixed for me when the patch was released finally droped to 205ms down from 500ms, but now it's gone up again and hit detection is bugged again.
