Beta is about finding bugs, not playing the game. So having access to beta and using it just as a mean of getting skill is not a way to go.

I've been gaming there for about ten years. Old habits die hard. Didn't realise that being competitive and wanting to win was Srs Bznis. Sorry, I'll try to tone down a little. As for the name, it was chosen without any regard to BattleTech or MechWarrior. In all honesty none of us had any idea about the canon unit. So when the devs announced the no-canon-units rule, we changed it about sixty times until we found something that fits.

No no, you see, he means Mechwarrior, not battletech. Because obviously skill at games over a decade old will translate perfectly to skill with this game. That or he genuinely means experience with MWO, in which case he's got as much experience as you or I, so his statement is hypocritical.


Oh and obviously no goon has ever played a Mechwarrior game before.
