this all would be great but seems that devs are even too lazy to fix maps, expecting a big rework that will require additional long testing and balancing is errm ... you get it. At very least it would requie halving the armor to lore amount and then adjusting lots of stuff and...
As an easiest solution that we can probably exect from them is rectile shake when high heat.

how is anyone going to hit a spider by keeping their reticule on target and moving slow and steady and not be shot at while the spider dodges and weaves and his chaser dodges and weaves and then the shot goes wide cause of spread.......

Just going to point out those ballistic trajectories are for MGs. And that their "cone of fire" is quite small. Play War Thunder if you don't believe me (it's F2P). Keep in mind that one can still aim for components (engines, wings) on enemy planes at 500m while both machines go in excess of 400 kph. All that while planes are being a lot smaller than Mechs.

Single fire your weapons... no reticle to deal with as they'll always go to the center point.

the problems with the spider have nothing to do with convergence - PGI has already said that it's a hitbox/HSR issue. the idea behind the reactive reticle is to spread out damage by causing the player to either use single fired weapons, fire larger sized groups, or hold their fire until they can achieve an optimal lock.
I really think you need to read the actual post on the first page because from what you said I don't think you've read any of the revisions of the idea.

This is pretty amazing. Functions a lot like some FPS shooters, but more advanced.
