The "free" additional 30 days of Premium Time offer ends on July 25th, but you can still buy the Mech Packages, themselves, beyond July 25th until a yet-undetermined date.

Well, for me, this deal ends Friday... because I'm going Overlord on all yo' *****.

I may be wrong, but considering all the legal mumbo jumbo surrounding these mechs (which I confess to not having read any of) a drastic redesign was necessary.

Greetings all,

So here are the questions:


Being in a Mercenary Organization;

1. What will the "Loyalty points" boost do for my Merc Company?
2. Is there any benefit to have a boost?
3. Can we even use that commodity?
4. Completing "Contracts" for different House's changes this "Loyalty Points" standing with each House.
5. How will this effect my Merc Company? (Or do we need to even be concerned?)
6. Will the "Loyalty Points" offset a "Dragoon Rating", or is that rating even being used?
7. Do we seriously need to think about bring some Phoenix Mech's on each "Drop" for a "Contract"?


- We seriously need some info about Community Warfare before committing to a purchase like this! -

You take one rumor, toss it aside, but when you look at the overall picture and you see the same thing over and over and over again and again, you really do have to wonder...

Sure they are a business, they need to make money,

but are there 3 chipmunks taking turns on a wheel trying to keep a ship afloat?

It legally CAN'T look like that. FASA lost a lawsuit many, many, many years ago over the artwork for what is now the Unseen (turned reseen via Project Phoenix).

If PGI made any of the reseen look too much like their old unseen images, they'd be setting themselves up for lawsuit.

Its not a good build anyways - Stalker+XL is a joke, stalker side torsos are such easy targets, and you're not twoshotting anyone who's made it past NewbieEloLand. Much like the 6ppc stalker, its just a matter of not letting them hit you in the same place twice.

If I start as FRR and get FRR medallions then later change to a different house say Davion does the 2½% still apply?

With these packages if I want to get the assault, I'm forced to spend and to get the Locust as well. Please rethink the packages or add 3 intermediate tiers, like

-30$ -> Chose 1 mech to get the phoenix variant + 2 standard variants 30 days for early buy and nothing else

-50$ -> Chose 2 mechs, 2 if which phoenix and 4 standard variants 30 PT days for early buy and faction medallion

-70$ -> Chose 3 mechs, 3 phoenix, 6 total standard variants, 30+30 PT days, 2 faction medallions.


Do the above, and I might turn back to my heels and either go for the 50 or even the 70 package, since I don't really want the locust, or at least I'd like to choose what I want. Otherwise I'll be fine with my elite founder status, and will happily wait for another black friday MC sale up in the future, since it's MC sales that we all call about by months, the offer is nice and the mechs are iconic, but I don't want to be forced to get what I don't want or I don't care.

Meh, too many assaults in the game anyway. I'm fine with them doing it like this. Maybe it'll finally encourage people to use Lights/Mediums for once.

Good catch. The updated silhouette contains the PPC barrel on the right arm. The original did not.

It is probable that the original silhouette is one of the other 2 variants in the package. My guess is either the -1S or -3S. Those removed the PPC in favor of missles. Notice that the shoulder mounted missle box also looks larger on the original. However, that could be an optical illusion due to the slight turn in the upper torso in the new one.

They should also add Custom Forum badges for Founders.

I shouldn't have to choose one or the Other if I am both...

I want a badge that says (If I decide to buy still debating) "Legendary xxxxxx" (i.e. Legendary Overlord - if I buy the Overlord package).

Why do I have to show one or the other...
