Your damage total is more than what the rest of the entire team combined managed to output.

Just had a match where I did 354 damage before dying.

The rest of my team combined.......350 total damage between 7 of them......yeah....so....ahhh.....

PUG Life.

Ever been doing really well, kicking a lot of ***, drawing a lot of attention, and then you finally die, and you're like, "Yeah man; we've got this," but then you look at the scoreboard and you're like, "What the **** has everyone else been doing this whole time?"?

And then you see the post-round scoreboard and die a little inside.

ELO may not be the primary reason for some of that. When you load into a brand new mech trying to figure out the configuration that feels comfortable to you while have none of the efficiencies, it can be awfully hard to pull reasonable numbers. Especially when everyone is playing PPCWarrior Online.

manage it in a XL QD (miniwahammer build) with less than basic efficiencies, now that hurts...........

'Well at least I took 3 of the enemy with me... we should win this.... wait... wait... an ER PPC spider with one leg left is the only person alive on my team. And they have arm lock turned on.'

Those first two variants within the chassis are always a mess. It seems like it takes at least 2 variants to just get a feel for how the mech works and what weapon combos are good for what you're wanting to do. And if you're like me and trying to stay away from the "everyone else is doing it so why not me" meta, it makes it awfully difficult.

I've been there while running the only light with my Commando while there were 2 Jagers, 3 Highlanders and 2 Altas D-DCs. They all went down in under 2 minutes and I was like "where did you guys go?"

Some people just have big trouble aiming. Even if they have perfected aiming, they still have to realise how to use weapon groups effectively. Then there's torso twisting etc.. etc...

There are a lot of things to learn for new players, they really need a well put together vid on youtube (linked in the main page of the client) describing key tactics required to complete effectively. I've noticed some advice in NGNG videos, but the topics covered are usually too broad and handwavy.

Yes, its great we have a plethora of new players.

Its bad that they are being thrown in with veterans that can literally make mince meat of them in seconds. Talk about frustration on both sides.

You know when you have terrible teammates when they try to snipe enemies with LPLs.... in a Spider... while not moving... and missing every time...

...you realise that your team mates include people who don't know how to push 'R' to lock a target, people who dumb-fire LRMs at 30m, and people who chain-fire MGs.

When I see ECM lights with nothing buy ERPPCS

When in a fire fight someone from my team will suddenly move in front of me to try and get the kill

When a teammate goes directly to the enemy

When I see LRM boats firing away not hitting anything

When I see "!@#$ you this is not cap warrior online" from both teams

When a teammate likes to alpha to the point of coring the mech

I think alot of the problem is how bad the trial mechs are compared to a well built mech whether it has PPC's or not
