Everytime PGI makes any post, everyone QQs.. cries and feels entitled to something. Gone the ways of working for something to earn it. You don't deserve dribblepoop.
PGI has expressed their love and passion for the Mechwarrior series and are working rather hard on it. They are open to HELPFUL suggestions and will typically say something via Podcasts every week through NGNG. They will not listen to mindless empty QQ, whine, complain, worthless critizing. People like THAT make game developing a hellish, exhausting chore so they may tend to just ignore it all completely.
Game is operating, you can play it fine. If you don't.. Make a LOGICAL THOROUGH suggestion and work around...
Or.. My lord, stop playing if all you're going to do is act like a pre-teen child who hasn't worked for jack.
Clearly they are making steps; be it any sort of uncomfortable manner to YOU- they are moving forward. Progress is progress even if it fails. Just found a way how it doesn't work. "Ye old Thomas Edison." mentality.

Relax, let them do THEIR JOB without being talked down with an infant like manner. I appreciate their work. I will continue to play and watch everything unfold.

Argh! I was all excited, got out my party hat and streamers.

Then saw that as usual Australians get screwed over yet again sigh.

3am to 5am, or 9am to 11am.

I can say, I'm not able to take a day off work to test MWO sadly.

Please consider a Friday afternoon timeslot, as that coverts to Saturday here in AU. Which means we can make the 9am to 11am one.

Otherwise, some of the people who will be most affected by 12v12 lag won't be able to test, and the first you will know about your game breaking is when you launch it on live servers and wonder why everything crashed and burned.

A shame they are too busy pushing P2W content like early Victor access to actually be making progress on the game........

(aside from weapon balance, etc, because of course, all things happen in a static bubble)

This client now will be your main game client to play the game as it is. And if it goes to version 1.0 you need a extra client for the testserver. Like in World of Tanks i think. And yes you need to test your testservers... omg people always complaining

Early Victors is not P2W... My K2 and Jager kill them quite fast.. and I do see them die from atlas' and such.. So.. P2L?
I don't understand that logic.. because there isn't any to begin with. C-bill purchase on sunday.. use MC to by the EXACT SAME VARIENTS? No way.. you're kidding.. The SAME mechs on both Early MC and soon C-bills? Okay.. who is winning besides PGI here.. I wonder. Lol

1 problem I have. The test form we can fill has nothing related to game balance or mechanics? High ping isn't really the biggest problem with the game atm.

We invested money in this game that they promised. When they miss deadlines and break promises as they have been then you can bet we will complain.

you seem to kinda be missing the point, your close, but still missing it.
All online games need test servers. they need them to fix bugs and iron out problems before they apply patches to the main game servers. MWO is launching sep 17th (ready or not), so they need the test servers implemented before then, as that is when what are currently "beta test" servers will re -tagged the "live" servers. This will hopefully lead to better (ie: less buggy) patches on the main servers in the long run. it will also allow those with a higher tollerance for glitches and problems a chance to play the new features sooner.

As for your speculations on sweeps in 12 v 12 you are probably right, but PGI have thought about this. Russ mentioned it in the ngng podcast #79 i think. though, he didn't say what solution they had come up with. test it tommorrow and help them figure it out, thats what the test server is for.

You should remove ppc and erppc from this test servers because this is not live and you actually dont spend cbills and people will build 4-6 ppc/erppc without paying anything (they wont only if they dont have cbills), and even if they worst(high heat, bad HSR, something whatever) on test server no one will care, most people will be happy if that happen......

Unless they drop them on the new "Lava Maps".....

I have not seen anything that says that map WILL NOT be included.
