For some reason I'm picturing bumperstickers on the can:

"I went to Albion Military Academy and all I got was this lousy Urbanmech."

The Urbanmech is the most compact Assault Mech that has ever been designed, it's highly under rated, and it has a fun rating of 11 on a scale of 1 to 5.

Don't suppose anyone has a decent set of scale plans for the urban mech they could point in my direction, or know where i could find some?

I hereby lend my support to the Urbanmech. Trashcan mounted AC/20 for everyone!!!

EDIT: The AC/10 variant is ok too.

Aff. The AC 10 is plenty in 3025, and later on you can upgrade to the LGR to keep up with the longer ranged combat and faster units of the modern battlefield. Just remember to use Urbies in groups and you can have a fully functional assault element for virtually nothing.

People might be happy to know that in my big ol' survey I took here (http://mwomercs.com/...phere-analysis/) the UrbanMech took the #1 slot for most popular IS 30-tonner. Whether that means much is a different matter, but it's still pretty cool to know a lot of people want lil' Urbs too.

Also, I want an UrbanMech too! ;)

You'll just have to deal with being sneaky. Channel AMBUSH Atlas through him to become SURPRISE Urbie!

The little ****** is just 563 BV. For the times you *really* have to use a light mech for urban defense. Don't count on it surviving any sort of return fire, but you sure can shred people with three UAC/20s for every one of theirs.

This is all not using dirty Clanner equipment, of course.

In all seriousness though, the Urbie was, as the name implies, designed for the urban combat MWO is supposed to be focusing on.

Unfortunaly, it isn't. It is just a heavy autocannon with legs.

That would be nice but wont happen. Ultra ACs don't come into play until 3060, after the Clan invation. Until then the AC will have to stay at a 10 either traditional or LBX.

LONG LIVE THE URBIE!

The Urbanmech is like the assault mech of the light mechs. Go ahead, throw a few of them in a Solaris VII Light-Class FFA and see who comes out on top. XD
