Heck they better have it... I posted it as one of the mechs I would like to start out using...It would be verry funny it this was like an MMO and there were urban mechs running all over the place on launch day... ROFL

If you get your Urbie, I want me Rifleman.
I know it has lots of issues, but I still love the rifleman.

The Urbie just brings peace into this cruel universe. Its like the "My little Pony" of the Mechwarrior universe. I would get one, pet it, bath it, take it for a walk in the park and teach him some amazing tricks!

You just made me hate the urbie.

when it is the most debated mech out there, the developers can do nothing but put the urbanmech in.

LOL Everything I remember about the Urban Mech is you had to have nutz of temped steel to pilot them. They were a head shot waiting to happen. There is even a card in the BattleTech CCG that and I quote "Being in a head-shot Mech makes you feel like an egg in an oil drum rolling down a long, bumpy hill" None more embodied this more than the Urban mech IMO :) While I love that thing and would like to see it in the game if nothing else other than for the sake of being funny I would NEVER choose to pilot them ;) To many times I have been playing were I was in my Heavies then got shot in the back by someone only to turn around to see an Urban and been like "aaawww its so cute, it thinks its peoples" moments I just can't take it serious.

Being in a lance of Urbies, one of them with a board equipped as scout, one as commander, one as defender and one as attacker (whatever this stuff ends up being). Would make me and a lot of other people happy.

Plus I think if the Gauss rifle is available, it should be possible to fit one in...

This is true. I'm going to have to make an Urbie-Soccer Pong-style game now.

I just got this image in my head of the techs mounting a Gauss to an Urby...and it falling over on it's side from the weight. :)

Or it fire'n the Gauss and flying backwards from the recoil, like a kid with a shotgun.

In all fairness I think its worth looking into having in this game. It will definately add a alternative play style for lighter mechs than harassing and scouting. I'm already imagining joining games completely populated by urbies.
