who needs flashy or glorious when you can have effective?

the bottom line is that the urbie is perfect for what it does. It is not a glorious assignment by any means and will pretty much guarantee that you wont get all the hot chicas in the mech lounge but in a tight urban map the AC10 at close range is devastating on anything that runs across its crosshairs.

They should add it because its in the canon. Plus its a perfect production model because of its simple design

Yeah, I know, I know. Someone out there is probably going to hate me for this.
So, lets hear it: Who out there wants to see this thing in game!

Yes, oh ***, yes. If for no other reason than because the UrbanMech seems to me like the embodiment of the MechWarrior/BattleTech franchise as of late; outgunned, running on spare parts, but still moving, dammit! I think it makes a way better mascot than any Atlas or timberwo...MAD CAT! Also, a person can toootally make an UrbanMech costume easily enough... I smell merchandising!

More of relevance, I guess; I hear there will be more cities for this round... so yeah... devs... get on that please :)

When the clans invade and the IS finally bands together to face them, we should bring nothing but Urbanmechs to fight them.

All hail the Urbanmech.

Im all for it! Especially in this new city scape maps we'll be able to play in.
Small, maneuverable and a big gun to blast a bigger mech in the back with and then duck out of sight down a street to come at him again from another street. Thats what an Urbie is for.

Urbanmech is so over looked due to it's speed for a light mech but after a few fights with one you will respect it's fire power and manuverablity in a city. Not to mention it's great for ambushes :)

Better question: Can we get a 'Trashcan of DOOM!™' varient that has a garbage can texture or that IS a garbage can with guns and legs?

They are made for urban fights (which will be better in this game), they are canon, fit into time and are easy to make. I dont see a reason, why would devs skip them.
