Mwo Has Possibly Run It's Course With Me

I guess it was bound to happen. The point where the game just isn't fun anymore. Unbalanced play has killed the thrill for me, and the more complaints I hear about it, the more the dev's seem to thumb their nose at us. Some know-it-all always has some smart a$$ answer for most every constructive thread I see.
There's just too many issues with this game that shouldn't be issues at this point in time IMO. I've grown tired of getting stuck on things I shouldn't be stuck on, tired of the skipping lights not registering any hits, tired of dropping in horribly unbalanced games, tired of the game kicking me out for NO reason at all, tired of the unpredictable damage I deal/receive every game, and finally tired of reading all the posts on here thinking to myself "that's a damn good idea", only to have it fade into oblivion. I know, I know...it's BETA for crying out loud!
PGI got me for the $60 package very early on. My expectations were so high for this game, maybe even too high, and that may indeed be part of my issue. My bad. I think I just need a break. Maybe a few months away from this mess may do some good. Maybe then this game with iron itself out a bit and become enjoyable.
I'm limited in how many hours I can devote to sitting in front of a PC gaming. But whatever those hours are, you can bet your house they'll be used on something that I feel is worth it. And I will be the only one making that decision!
Vent over.......

Ah well, back to Kerbal Space program and Rouge Legacy for me.
Though the recentl patch seems to have fixed the "PPC's, PPC's Everywhere!" problem.

Ok, so I might be a little bit Smashed but God damm it! Granted the game has gone from good to bad to good to bad to OK... Why cry about it.. REAL WARRIORS dont give a crap! You fight with what you have!. If you patience is worn down, do not blame the Devs (there is, to be fair, not many of them)
If you need a break, Just take one... I will not wait for you to **** yourself before I say "Do you need a wee?" Grow the **** up.
if you brought a bad deal it is your own fault, hell I am STILL waiting for the Clans!? (I bought in just after Closed Beta started) You paid double what I did.. Your mistake? Probably.. Your faith in the game ... SH*TE
If only there was a Smiley for the middle finger....

The only thing it tells is how terrible and arrogant gameplay balance posters are. Most of the reasonable people have left the forums, or at least this subsection of the forums, long ago and play at their leisure rather than cutting themselves over the slow development of a game that hasn't been around very long.

Poking fun at someone's opinion is never kosher, but I am bewildered. Yes, the game has issues - all games do. World of Warcraft with a billion-per-year profit and eight million paying players has severe 'balance' problems. All online games do. If even giants like that have problems, a free-to-play game from a small-time company with minimal funding and resources is going to have more. The fact that we even have a fairly stable and playable game within a year is a veritable miracle.
I don't know if it's peoples expectations or ability to perceive reality that is out of touch, but despite the problems that are fairly attributed to the game, the amount of complaints that serve no positive end whatsoever are staggering. I can appreciate the need for catharsis, but it's amazing how a few key issues can be blown out of proportion to the point that someone who had never played the game would be thinking this was the single most disastrous game in history.
To those hoping Star Citizen will be different: If you think that game won't have a myriad of problems on top of even higher expectations, you haven't played many online games. One acronym for you : SW:ToR.
... incoming, "it was all EA's fault" in 5, 4, 3, 2...

I'll be back at release, IF CW is live, IF UI 2.0 is live, and IF the balance and pace have been properly addressed.

If you ask me, this game has too many Debbie Downers around, as well as any other online game I have ever played for that matter. It must be me.

I appreciate the theme of your post, and the reminder that it's beta, but if you don't understand or sympathize with people wanting to discuss their thoughts on the game, then maybe the forums aren't the place for you. People may have different opinions than you do. It's okay.

"I appreciate the need for catharsis".
I actually endorsed the right to say what people like.
I have no problem with people expressing opinions. I think we should *all* say what we feel, but we should accomplish something in the process.
