I have run the repair tool, and even uninstalled/reinstalled/repatched, all to the same results.

I'm on Win7 Pro, I have full admin rights.

I have this exact same error, have submitted a ticket please let me know if they post anythign about a fix. I have even reinstalled. Twice!!! ARGHHHH!

Same kinda thing for me, crashed and had to close program after spectating a jenner run through multiple explosions and lasers on forest colony. 4 mechs in view, catapult k2, atlas and cataphract.

Well, first round I played I couldn't turn my mech using "a" and "d", then found out it was because my joystick was plugged in. That wasn't a problem before the patch. Game 4 since patch, game froze, just like before. Used to just freeze when I used small fast mechs, mostly the spider. now an atlas.

It is getting very frustrating. The game was less buggy a year ago.

Temporary Game Freeze
  • Was any error message provided with the crash, if so, which?
    • No error message. Game froze for approx 10 secs
  • Where in the game or menus did the crash occur?
    • In combat, both being plummet by machine gun fire and by spectating. All in game except person firing noted the freeze.
  • What steps had been taken prior to the crash occurring?
    • Pulling up Process Explorer and Task Manager. Out of 10 games, System Commit/Memory Commit had stayed a steady 3.7-9, until the freeze. At that point both times it jumped to 4.7 and stayed there the entire match. Once match ended and dropped back down to the mech bay, commit dropped back down to 3.7 initially then came up to 3.9 and stayed there.
  • Does the crash re-occur for you if repeating those same steps?
    • Only in close proximaty of either multiple MGun fire or Multiple AC2 being fired point blank. The number of MG were either 4 or 6.
  • What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
    • Medium 1920x1080

Internet crashed 2 times, both and only time this occurred was on new Tera map in my Atlas D-DC. I was nearing center volcano area both times when teammates froze in place, then internet crashed completely. Connection is not an issue. No loss of connection at any other time.

I agree with XM15---the game is getting worse. Whatever they are doing is making the game worse. Last patch really messed it up for me. Are you going to refund or maybe at least freeze premium time countdown until you get this fixed? Cause it is getting unplayable when you log on--freeze up and die

I've had the same issue with the game crashing upon hitting the Play button from the client. I submitted a ticket with the details so hopefully this gets resolved soon.

Since the patch i have also been receiving this same issue. I even went as far as to run the repair tool and uninstall reinstalled twice. Still it is giving me the "Please Wait". I went outside to smoke eat breakfast and came back and it was still there. I can honestly say i have never had an issue since day 1 of closed beta. This is my first issue after a patch.

I used to get random intermittent freezes that sometimes recover when I ctrl-alt-del to taskmanager. Lately even that isn't working. Now it just hangs and I have to kill the process. It happens at least 2 times a night.

For those who are crashing as noted with the APPCRASH, are you running an AMD and Avast (so far, only those with AMD and Avast have posted this workaround).

Exclude MWO and its folders from active scanning (no reports on whether this will work or not)

Uninstall Avast and reboot. All those who have reported doing this stopped the APPCRASH.

AMD A6 oc'd to 4.3. GeForce 650GTX gpu, 8 gigs of Patriot ram. Running Windows 8 64 bit oem. The game ctd's at random intervals while in a drop. It seems fine while in mech lab or other menus. No error messege generated. Video settings are unchanged. I've ran the repair tool and it comes up clean. I've uninstalled and reinstalled with no improvment. I am also getting the random lock-up for up to 30 senonds and then the game unfreezes as if nothing happened. Often times resulting in my death. This is getting rather tiresome.

edit: this issue started two patches ago, and I do not run Avast.

While FPS and firing delay have improved slightly, I now crash from 4/5 games. As is, the game runs smoother, but is frustratingly unplayable.

Still getting Screen Freeze in mid-game, had the same issue before this patch though. No crash mesages have to use task manager to end process.

It's gotten to the point where IF I make past the countdown to match start, after three/four steps I freeze, and almost every first match I freeze. All I have running is MechWarrior Online, iTunes, and Teamspeak 3.

I can run two clients of EVE with graphics at High, Chrome, and TS3 with very little negative effects, even when playing both clients simultaneously, so it's not hardware or software on my end.

I'm not uninstalling my antivirus. These devs need to learn how to make a frakking game.

As someone who grew up playing Battletech, and made a point to get his hands on every Mechwarrior game he could, I'm really disappointed with this game. If you can't even compete with the job Microsoft did 13 years ago, I'd say it's time to take a step back and look at the priorities. How anyone can make a game so broken and incomplete an open beta is mind-boggling.

First run of the game ran fine on a Training Ground until I ended the match then.. *** Memory allocation for 3380464020 bytes failed ***
