How had the patch generally affected your performance?

Lost 20fps average.

Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes.

What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
was all very high, now switched to high and disabled AA

Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch
pre patch was 55-60, now 35-45

PGI tried (and failed) to nerf PPCs, but they nerfed our systems instead, amiright?

match will start with 40-45fps, but as soon as I fire a weapon it drops clear down to 8 - 15 fps. It stays at that rate until there are only about 1/2 to 1/3 of the players left alive then it shoots up all at once to back to 40 or so fps. I have all my settings on low.
specs: i3-2100 3.1ghz. 4gb ram gtx 550ti. I know thats low end, but it was running just fine with 30-40 fps before this patch.

How had the patch generally affected your performance?
It has completely and utterly ruined it

What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
All lowest, 1024x768 resolution and no I did not change them as they can't go any lower

Latest patch: 60FPS menu, 2-5FPS in game
Previous patch 60FPS menu, 60-100FPS in game

Spoiler

Your advertised internet connection speed / Geographic location
UK, 60Mbit fibre connection. Usually get ~100ms ping. That hasn't changed.

I should also mention that the CPU is barely even close to maxed out. One core gets up to about 50%, the rest are all at about 20% so it's definitely a graphics issue.

The last few patches made this game playable and in fact smooth (a few patches previously I was getting 5-10FPS), even if I did have to use the lowest settings. I don't care about it looking nice as long as I can play. Now it's impossible to even drive a 'mech without running into hills/buildings/walls/other 'mechs etc. I'm really sad about this. Was so looking forward to taking Sarah's Jenner out for a spin...

[EDIT]
Just tried in the testing grounds. In there I still get 80FPS on Terra Thirma and 100FPS on Canyon Network. Then it's right back down to 5FPS as soon as I join an actual game. This is crazy!

The performance went to **** after the 12vs12 Patch. Can't even look in the direction where a battle is going on without the game becoming a unplayable slideshow. But the FPS are also generally lower even if i just look at some buildings or something.

My video settings are maxed except for shadows on middle and vsync off (was completely smooth in 8vs8,no FPS drops EVER)

FPS in game ranges from 11-30 now. Most of the time lower than 30 (before the patch always over 30 because it was always smooth,i notice immediately if FPS go under 30)

System specs:
Core2Quad Q8400 @3,2Ghz
AsRock P43ME Mobo
4gigs Corsair XMS 2 @DDR-800
Radeon XFX HD6950 Dual Fan
Windows7 64bit Home Premium

Internet Speed and Location:DSL 6000 (over WLAN) living in germany. (Usually a 120-150 ping, maybe a little bit more sometimes not sure)

Please PGI,work together with CryEngine developers.I bet they can teach you some nice tricks to give the game greater performance.

EDIT:An please don't tell me it's my overclock. The system is 100% stable and your game liked my overclock before. >.<

Many ping hiccups since the patch, everything goes super laggy then speeds back up hilariously for a second unless it crosses a threshhold and I get kicked from the game with "Session lost". There is nothing else going on on my internet connection to interfere but I can't rule out that it's my ISP (Unitymedia, Germany).

It doesn't matter what I set my graphics settings to. I used to have them on high, and never had a dip below 30fps, now if I'm on low, I'm consistently getting anywhere between 5-15 FPS. It's completely unplayable since the patch.

Please attempt to respond to the following questions in your responses:
  • How had the patch generally affected your performance?

    Approximately 50% drop in fps

  • Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes.

Worst hit to fps is when team is in close proximity immediately after start of match. I get a few fps back as team spreads out.

  • What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?

Settings normally on high but tried med with very little effect on fps loss.

  • Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS)

Prior to patch: 40s and 60 in lab. After patch: low 20s and 45-50 lab.

Hit detection is much worse as of this patch for ballistics. I have shot stationary mechs with a gauss, seen no damage, shot them with lasers for full damage, then shot them with gauss again for no damage. I could accept it against moving mechs, but this one was standing still. Even slow moving mechs (atlas) simply don't register hits about 50% of the time.

My ISP is TORIX peered, so my ping is very low and very stable.

Also my FPS got cut in half or worse, from a solid 60FPS to 20~30FPS.

  • How had the patch generally affected your performance?
Huge performance hit.
  • What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
Prior, I could play on med settings with AA on and get 30-40 FPS. Now, everything is on low, and i'm on 10-20.
  • Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS)

I get 10-20 in game, 60 in the mechbay.

  • MWO is currently unplayable.
  • Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes.
  • Unplayable from launch to end; but it gets worse when moving, shooting or watching other mechs cross in front of me.

  • How had the patch generally affected your performance?
I literally cannot play anymore. Before the patch I had terrible FPS which I fixed by lowering the resolution, the lower I put it the less FPS issues I had, so I just set it to the lowest setting and it worked fine, I managed between 19-28 FPS but after the patch I'm getting 9 FPS even with all my graphics settings set to lowest.

    Constant.

  • How had the patch generally affected your performance? Same problems others are experiencing.
  • Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes. It gets better once there are no mechs on my screen and nobody's firing. Unfortunately, I'm usually dead before that happens.
  • What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch? Same video settings for now. (They were already nearly as low as I can go.)
  • Average FPS in game and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS) In game previously I was getting 40-60 fps. Now I'm lucky if I get 25, but then it drops to the low teens. The game is essentially unplayable.
  • System specs (You can include them in a [spoiler] [ /spoiler]) My low end system is an Intel Q6600 quad Core running at 2.4 ghz with 8 gb of ram and an Nvidia 8800 GTS 512 all with the latest drivers on Windows 7 64 bit.
  • Your advertised internet connection speed / Geographic location I have a 50 mbps connection and I am in Wisconsin, USA.

I have a ATI 7870 Ghz edition and I can't even make 30fps at time. I had maxed out the fps at 60 the previous few patches, but now the fps is crap!

I think ive seen about a 25% reduction in FPS this patch. Brand new machine that plays Crysis3 on max settings and now its struggling to run this game.

My "older" gaming laptop went from 50fps to completely unplayable over the past 3 months worth of patches.

I have the following specs:

FX 8350 CPU
ASROCK Extreme 9 mb
16 MB Ram
HD 7970 AMD video card

Before the patch I was getting anywhere from 35 to 40 all the way up to 60 if there wasn't a lot going on the screen. Now it rarely goes over 20 fps, with the average closer to 14 dipping down all the way to 10.

CPU usage is also much worse. Anywhere from 35% or so with heavy load on 4 or 5 cores all the way up to about 60% usage on all 8 cores.

It has improved a little after running the patcher tool, and just after some time has gone by, but not much.

Mostly solid 60fps, however it feels like there is some more stuttering compared to previously.
Game is still CPU bound for me.
