Ive started this game just yesterday, can anyone tell me what time to expect the servers to be back online? I dont want to check the serverstatus every 5 minutes
No way to tell and they didn't say. Can be anywhere from 30 min to a couple hours.

Another stupid bandaid fix that probably makes the game even uglier. When release comes the game will look like Mech Warrior 2.
I really hope all the optimization and eye candy gets back in with the Dx11 patch but knowing that it's you PGI i'm not counting on it.Thought the purpose of the Cryengine was that you and we can have a glorious looking game that also performs pretty nice and not a game that runs and looks like crap.
Providing players running on min spec hardware with an option to disable the glow for additional frame rate is not a bandaid fix it's a useful trade off for them.
Lowering the glow texture resolution is also a valid tradeoff for min spec users, we intend to properly link this to the texture slider in following patches such that a min spec user could have the higher resolution glow if desired.

Wow you must have a massive willy...
Well many of us have noticed a frame rate drop since 12v12 so I hope the hotfix helps us who can't afford a ninja PC at the moment.

Perhaps it was always too much to begin with. It was too easy to just play a few games and then buy very powerful hardware. Those mech chassis are supposed to be rare, Lostech, carefully maintained despite unavailability of parts. Handed down through generations of mech warrior families. But with CBills inflation reduced to nothing but foot notes to be sold off at a whim when short on mech bays.
Perhaps there should be a complete wipe at launch. XP/GXP to 0. All MC purchases reverted to MC. Perhaps keep the trophy/event cockpit items as mementos.

Or you could play on settings higher than medium? Besides, this game still has textures.

Problem is that many players that have been experiencing the FPS drop are running mid to high spec machines as well.

The fix is across the board it is not specific to min spec these are simply additional options to help further assist min spec players.

I apreciate your effort and i assume you to have shown wisdom and to not expect Players to adjust their Settings when they believe the hotfix doing it for them...

Personally, if it played well and gave very good FPS, I'd quite happily go for the nostalgic look of MW2 if I had a low-end system and wanted to take part.
For me it's about enjoying a game first, graphics second.

- Added a way to turn off the Glow Damage in the Front End option screen.
- With this off it will disable the glow damage you see when you shoot a ‘Mech, this can be an FPS gain for all specs.
where, how? I dont see it.
