So during the whole party there's a 30 minute time frame for presentations and awards? Is this the time allotted for the presentation of the supposed details regarding CW and the future of MWO?

It takes them very little time to promise a Command Chair post...

Actually making the Command Chair post is apparently a massive effort that takes many weeks, if not months, if not years...

Hi PGI,

I am a tad concerned after viewing the schedule for the launch party:

2:00pm Invitational Tournament Round 1
5:00pm Invitational Tournament Round 2
7:00pm Presentations + Door Prizes
7:30pm The Special Match (name to be finalized)
8:00pm Semi Finals
9:00pm Grand Final
9:30pm Awards

Is this the complete list of events? A lot of us are pinning our hopes on hearing and hopefully seeing more details on the upcoming core features like UI 2, Community Warfare and Clan Invasions. At the very least we expect to hear more on the UI and CW aspects.

However in this schedule only 30 minutes to provided for presentations and awards (I'm guessing presentations is of a different sort?).

It seems the party is mainly just tournaments which is fine but what about the big bang, we've launched and this is what we're working on and here are some screenshots, etc?

From the forum fury over the last week, you can understand many are pinning their hopes on gleaning more information from this party and if there is none forthcoming ... I dare say it's not going to be pretty.

The only thing I get is a nice background image with the text "OFFLINE" in the upper left hand corner.

What am I missing here?

I am bothered by the 30 minutes of presentations and prize too. It means they will dish out all they hve to tell us about Community Warfare in 15 minutes. I guess there isn't that much to say. MEH.

If it's any consolation, the devs have been providing pictures of them setting up the event through their twitter accounts

Ok I made it now what to do anyone in the area doing anything or wants to get together? Let me know I'm bored of shopping lol. Cannot wait till 2marrow. Btw everyone I think they will probable just drop stuff on us as the day goes nothing in the schedule looks too official except that there is a tourney going on.
