No, to quote the CDU
  • Mech(s): Locust, Shadow Hawk*, Thunderbolt*, Battlemaster*, Hero Atlas, and Champion Spider
  • Map(s): Crimson Strait
  • Pattern(s): Flame
* Available only if you have ordered a Phoenix Package.

it does not have an asterisk next to it.

Flimsy. But you may be right and the Flame pattern may be available for MC for the CB-purchasable Phoenix 'mech variants (meaning the Locust in October). If so, I'm fine with that as well - I get it for free.

Sorry, Snarf left a bigger impressing than the drug addict on Sesame Street. However, I do vaguely remember that song, but we are talking probably 26 years ago.

I can see that, but having been through so many Snarf wannabes over the years, he is more irritating than fun for me.
I can see where he would have been a lot more fun if there hadn't been so many of that character types shoved in my face over the years. seriously, almost every if not every Anime or Anime wannabe has a wannabe-Snarf

... never really thought of the Cookie as being a drug addict, growing up in a druggy neighborhood left me with too real of an idea of what drug addicts were really like. He came across to me more like a kid obsessing over candy (like myself)

Edit: To, Too, Two - growing up with the language I cannot keep them straight >.<

I luuuuurves it!!!

(although I would have loved it a little more had they managed to put some side windows on it... kind of hoping it doesn't have <looking out the open end of a box> tunnel vision)

Is it just me, or do all of these mechs look even better in-game compared to the PP page images? Love the looks of these mechs, though I will be changing the colors immediately!

I think the pertinent question is, according to the other conversation in this thread, will you color it highlighter yellow, post-it yellow, lemon chiffon, yellow-green, green-yellow, or lime green?

None of the above. Yellow and green are two of my least favorite colors. Red, blue, black or white for me.

The people who complain the most haven't quit playing. Something tells me the teamspeak they are on isn't full of "I'M HAVING SUCH A BAD TIME! SOMEONE SAVE ME FROM MYSELF!"

Or maybe I'm like that kid from Sixth Sense. "I see quitters. They are in the game playing all the time, and they don't even know they quit!"

How is it flimsy, unless you mean you have no faith in their communication skills to the extent you think Russ can't put a star next to a single line item?

Note that Nekki isn't leaking this or anything, it's been publicly available for quite some time and in MWO's seemingly more popular days, it saw a lot of assorted folks (e.g. not its owners) using it. That's tapered off severely. People just aren't playing, at least not in an organized fashion, how they once did.

Same can't be said of everyone in this thread. Just because someone does something for a living doesn't make them an expert. Many sub optimals are employed all the time. If these folks can't tell what color those balls are, and it's not yellow, that just goes to show you being a professional doesn't mean you are good. It just means you get paid to do your job.

It's flimsy in the sense that it hinges completely on a single missing character, the omission of which is as likely to be a simple mistake as done purposely.

Mumble rather than teamspeak though.

Heffay can see first hand how the mumble went from about 40-50 players at any given time to maybe 4-6 in prime time.

Then he can go away.

I can't wait for Tuesday. This was my first major purchase for this game, glad to help out some devs with a kickass dream. The fact that more stuff could be coming is excellent.
