Based on the only opinion polls which exist on the issue, the overwhelming majority did not want it. You can say polls on these forums are not representative of the player population and that may be true, but there is no quantifiable evidence for a large segment of players who DO want 3PV at all.

No, we can't. Have you paid any attention at all? You look like a fool. There is no separate queuing for people using 3PV or "Hardcore" mode right now.

Driving a car is a necessity for most people. Playing MWO is not a necessity for anybody.

And so that means we don't have a choice. And we have been given no word on when that button will be made functional to give us a choice, if ever.

If they put a button in the game that says "Give me free MC" which is grayed out all the time, do we have the ability to get free MC?

I, a caring customer, would like to show you why I think 3rd person gives players and unfair informational advantage over players who play in first person view.




I will field test this for 2 games only. If I am not satisfied with the results I will stop playing immediately.

Haven't got anything to add regarding 3PV, but somehow this patch reset all my weapon groups. Not a major issue, but a bit of a pain.

Also, the Highlander missile tube bug is still present. Could have sworn that was meant to be fixed with this patch.

1PV is unfair. If you're using the seismic module, you'd able to to see that Catapult on the other side of the building on your radar, something you aren't able to do in 3PV. Plus, in 1PV I'd be able to use seismic to detect a light mech walking up behind me, something I'm also unable to do in 3PV.
