Edit: Now that I think about it, Warhammer especially was a lot like MWO as far as starting strong, then going into a death spiral wherein the developers were flailing without any obvious signs of overall direction. It was marketed as a heavily PVP-focused MMORPG where you can level from 1 to cap entirely off of PVP. Then one of the classes, Choppa, wasn't shaping up like it needed to and ended up not being in the game at launch. Then they nerfed some of the bonuses from PVP, and spent months churning out PVE content. I gave up on the game when they released multiple consecutive patches buffing classes that was ok while another class was completely non functional (as in the mechanics literally did not work).
