Be safe the True Mechwarrior out there, I am a Long time fan of Battletech with over $4,500 in just the board game; Not Counting Video game stuff and Money spent on MWO.

Because the ONLY mode I can play is a mix between 1st/3rd POV, if I want to play against others, I cannot 'surprise' a person on Frozen City because when you climb over the ridge area in the middle of the map, I can clearly get a 1-2 second advantage and know someone is coming over the ridge via 3rd person viewpoint and wait until he or she clears just enough to where I can shoot before the other person can shoot. It's CLEARLY a disadvantage and it favors 3rd person viewpoint over 1st person viewpoint.
This looks to be a CLEAR violation of what PGI promised us and I am disgusted with this. Until PGI implements a SEPARATION to where people can play only ALL 1st person viewpoint, I am refusing to play this game any further. I'm sorry, but PGI has now broken faith with me, and I am highly disappointed with PGI regarding these new changes.

2. If there is none: Where can I pause my premium time? Cause I'd like to take a break from this game then.

...yeah, no one's playing with 3PV on all the time. They're switching it on to see over and around cover, then turning it off. And there's no auto aim, at all. When the crosshairs jump, that's because it's going over areas that you can't actually see from 1PV.

Oh, but right, there's a little beeping droid that tells the enemy I'm 100% behind cover while looking at them. No advantages at all here, folks.

Easy to understand wy there is still no 1th person only option. If the option was already there ppl would chose that option and there will be no further feedback on the 3th person view. Understandable.
Once enough feedback ( both positive and negative ) is received the "hardcore" game mode should be avaible i gues..
Please give some constructive feedback ppl.
my findings on the 3th person so far.
-very hard to aim. especialy when changing from a close object to a object further away.
-Useless when other mechs are close. u can not aim precice enough and not camera to slow. . try hitting a light mech circeling you.

Because everything is always set in stone, right?
There's a screenshot above highlighting 'hardcore' mode, which is certainly EXACTLY what we are asking for - a separate '1PV-only' queue.
One word: ECM. Yes, things are set in stone.
And having a 'Hardcore' mode that the Devs prevent any use of is EXACTLY what we are -NOT- asking for. In fact, we were asking them to not have 3PV -AT ALL-, and the -Devs- were the ones who said there would be a seperate queue, which they have now withdrawn in favor of forcing all players into 3PV games.
I shouldn't have to explain this to you, but it's obvious you lack reading comprehension or basic logic capability. How you could have said what you said in the face of the fact that it was blatantly false is otherwise very hard to understand.

To those who state the vast majority of the community does not want 3PV, it is possible that this is true of regular posters on the forum. Whether it is true or not of the population of the game at large is not something we can comment on.
My interpretation of the post that is now being waived around like Chamberlain's white paper is that it was meant to refer to Community Warfare and competitive play at launch. Clarification from PGI on this matter would be appreciated.
Regardless of whether or not there are sound reasons to have brought out 3PV without restriction, it is damaging to the company's image to promise one thing, then without warning, deliver something else entirely. I am sure there are reasons for it, but one needs to spend only a few minutes on these boards to surmise the attitude and reaction that this implementation is going to engender... chicken little is having a field day.
This is the kind of way people react, which is mind-boggling-ly crazy and over-reactionary, but it's what PGI has to deal with, and should have known might happen as a result of this patch change.
The more time I spend here, the worse the community looks in terms of rationality than the World of Warcraft boards.
You forgot to mention that this BETA is all about leeching money out of us BETA testers. Oh, and you forgot to mention, that they promised other things than this.

Feedback:
3pv completely USELESS for ---> NEW <--- players.
-> no visible legs
-> no minimap, therefore absolutely NO INDICATOR where your legs are pointed
-> no lance indicator, bad aiming and so on
how shall this improve the new player experience?
Enables you to look around corners with the press of a button. That is the ONLY thing it does properly.
