Bonus rewards are in addition to the contents of the pack you purchased, why anyone would feel cheated out of anything I'll never understand

FREE
ADDED
BONUSES
That isn't what they are selling. They are selling the base package. If that isnt a good deal for you, cancel your order. If they had never announced bonuses would you even be complaining?

If you look up the variants on Sarna, you'll have a good idea on the minimum hardpoints on the varients.
The locust will have a 5 Energy varient and a 2Missile and maybe 3Energy (or 1) variant.

i would rather know what im buying before hand than have in idea of what i 'might' be buying.i prefer smurfy or mechromancer because they show mwo mechs not battletech lore.(which doesnt seem to translate well into a video game)
if you play star trek online and wear a red shirt do you have to die 20 times more than gold or blue shirts?

Oooh Oooh, here's one:
"Waaaah, my free colors I didn't know I was going to get when I paid for the Pheonix package are almost the same as the free colors I didn't know I was getting with my PC Gamer skin."
I think it's great.

Translation: We did not think it was worth the time to program it out but we will make it sound like we are giving you something.

Most of us bought the pack before these were announced. For us, it`s free swag on top of the early bird bonus we already got.
For those that missed out on the EB bonus, it`s just another thing to complain about now that it`s become obvious that complaining about missing said offer only makes you look like a (bleep) and get laughed off the forums.
I expect the exact same thing to happen to those instead now complaining about the "kickstart style" perks.
Please, allow me to get the ball rolling (All in good fun, no offense intended to anyone specific *raises beer stein* )

Exactly!
I cannot fraking believe that people are complaining about free stuff.
Is it even possible to be that entitled? What's next, complaining that the game isn't really F2P because they accept money for optional content?

Why is it so hip around here to act like we're being tortured? (Bonus cool points if you know the developers by name and vent your impotent rage at them like you actually know them)

Those rewards weren't part of the original deal, they were added weeks later in response to how successful the project is. So no, I don't feel 'cheated' about being freely given something I didn't ask for.

I bet you could count the number of people who actually forced a refund on your fingers.

You probably shouldn't make that bet, because you will lose. I know of that many people personally. My own refund was sent to payment processing today and I received an email confirming it.

They are buying it too.
I bought it early, and got free time. Good enough for me.
Other people are buy it now, post early-bird, and we all get free colors out of it?
What exactly is your problem?
Sidenote: Of course, if they really wanted to sell more, they make the colors/patterns available now.

Why exactly did you refund your package? The whole thing seems apes**t crazy to me.
So, you don't want the thing that you bought because there is a small chance you won't get all the free stuff you didn't know you were getting when you originally decided it was a good purchase? What? The? Frack?
Do you not like the game? Do you not find it fun? Do you not want it to succeed so that it will still be around in 5 years?
Maybe you should stop playing. Delete the game, shut down your account. THAT will teach PGi to give you free stuff!
Crazy load of nut butter.
