Posted in the recruitment forum, but just wanted to say here that I'm Steiner through and through. Rich German heritage in my family. Fresh out of training from Nagelring and waiting on my assignment to a unit in the Mech Corps of the Lyran Alliance.

Background: I watched my father play MW2 and took over playing during MW3. I last played MechWarrior4: Mercenaries and was also a part of the MechWarrior League. Tried to play MechAssault and was highly disappointed. I've been spoiled by the pc games. The amount of excitement over MWO? Off the charts.

Backround: I actually was introduced to Battletech and Mechwarrior through the Xbox Mechassault games... And to be honest I'm glad the series turned out to be more than just another third person shooter. I played MW4:Mercs, I've picked up living legends, and now I'm looking forward to MW:O!

After playing through MW4:Mercs again I gotta say that my favorite mechs have gotta be the Steiner makes, specifically the Hauptmann is my current favorite(Used to be the Fafnir but a lack of ranged punch outside of heavy gauss started getting me killed more often than not)

Background: Battletech is my favorite universe. I played MW3 a little when my dad had it. Then i played MechWarrior: Mercs and MechCommander 1 and 2. I've played through these three at least 3 times each as well as downloading all of the mods and anything else I can find for it. My favorite mech is actually th Vulture but I'm a stalwart Steiner fan. There's nothing sweeter than watchin an Atlas stride into battle with a Centurion, a Bushwacker, and a Catapult at it's side.

Background: Got into roleplaying and table top games almost 30 years ago. I have since played every version of Mechwarrior that has been released for the PC and Xbox. The number of other game systems and table top games I have owned or played is to long to list, but it is nearly all of the main ones along with a few independets like Mekton, and Blood Bowl. Was a fan of megamek and enjoyed my time as a ghost bear fighting for the clan way of life. However I have and always will be a loyal Innersphere pilot.
