Pgi Disable Spiders Until They Are Truly Fixed!

From this I deduce that MWO damage is completely broken (and absolutely nothing to do with fundamental networking mechanics), so I would like it removed from the game.
PS. Have people here really never had a match ending with 'chase the Jenner'? Because this is the standard finale for plenty of my matches. More so than for Spiders.

Don't whine because you don't like the answer... your making a claim with no substantiated data to back it up. You cant/havent demonstrated any kind of actual numbers of spider vs jenner etc... so who's the 'child'?
I give you an explanation based on experience on how a matchh can end up with 'chase' the light and you whine. Try working with facts rather than tears.

Pulse lasers work real good on them too, LPL/MPL all work wonders against lights in general.
Just because your a terrible pilot, and cant hit a broad side of a barn, doesn't mean XX mech is broken it just means your getting outplayed.

Fixed. Seriously though they took on avergae 220+ dmg before going down. Thats just NOT right for a light

And why not? Each spider has 210 armor and ~110 of that internal hit points.
edit: +average damage dealt IS 190.4 not 220+ for each spider and other teams best damage dealer is streak boat which deals damage almost equally to every and each location of the enemy mech.

Just pointing out that you cannot possibly do 220 damage to it - torso (xl engines) or legs will give way before that, especially in a combat scenario.

Mechs can get very close to total destruction before dying... Even with XL engines. I've had a Jagermech get to '12%' on the total health readout before (and it was running an XL engine as well). I had like a laser and my engine left, but I was still standing at the end.
In a Spider I've lost both arms, a leg, and serious critical damage to every remaining location before dying... So given 210+110 is 330 total and the average was 190.4 so was not even all the armor lost on each spider before it died.

Lowest I've seen over more than a year playing is a Cent at 7% - still fighting when it went down, killing one of its attackers the split second before it died.

Now the player was good, they had skill and steady aim using the PPCs on the arm while swiveling. But despite being shot at repeatedly and hit, with no armor mind you. None of the other team that remained could bring him down. Eventually he jump jet landed to hard and broke his own leg from having no armor.
Now if you have someone removing all armor from a mech so they can go as fast as they can carrying two ppcs, an ecm and the heatsinks to dump the heat knowing they can get away with it, and doing it brilliantly well, because of bad hit detection exploitation. It speaks volumes to how bad it is.
The whole thing was supposedly caught by someone twitch streaming and I can only hope they read this and post a link to the video.
Oh, the player had a displayed latency of 127ms during the match, just for those curious if he had a high latency.

This one time in band camp.... 1> How did you figure his 'latency' 2> What 'engine' did his mech have? You stated he put in as many heatsinks as he could.....well how many was that? Ok now... ECM, 2 PPC's, jump jets and heatsinks? Yea he had to be at least a decent pilot.... Considering he cant have ECM, 2 ppc's, a jumpjet AND heatsinks with the 255. Presuming Elite lvl, he's got 11 seconds before overheating. a 245 gives him 1.5 tons to play with, 1 heat sink and 2 jj's @ 145kph.... 235 = an extra .5 tons and top kph of 139.

From the description I was guessing it was a Crazy Spider... Though anyone running sans armor really is crazy, even in a Spider...

And seriously Mehlan each player's latency is displayed on the scoreboard...
If it wasn't against the forum rules I'd gladly have named the player because even though they were exploiting a known weakness with the game on hit detection they still did a hell of a job doing it.

The lowest % I have seen on a mech was a cent too. Love my cent.
Wish SRMs were better.

My ping is very very good (<20) at all times... and I definitely do not have the spider invincibility that a lot of people seem to have.
Yet another engine where it's best to lag yourself??????????? definitely not the first that is like that for sure

You are likely playing mostly with players sub 100ping, if so you haven't tested anything in terms of ping/hit detection threshold.
Try to play with most enemies around 250+ for a subjective test.

All over the board man, every match
Seriously not trying to be mean or nasty or anything but saying that??? It makes me think "have you PLAYED mwo and looked at the pings?"
Cause it's always all over the board 30-250 every match all kinds of pings since forever

Mine depends on time of day. If it's NA prime time, I get up to 90% NA pings with the rest in the 100-140 range (EU, SA, and RU players mostly fill the rest). In Asian prime time I get about maybe half asian pings and then a lot of EU players playing late mornings early afternoon games. And maybe the odd NA night owl.
It's pretty consistent for me.

...and you ever notice during load that peoples 'ping' or what you want to refer to as 'latency' CHANGES? That is not a static number, it's dynamic, which means...in short you don't know squat about his connection.
as for exploit....I swear the more crud I see come out of the mouth of some of these 'founders'. <smh>
