Found an interesting quote:
"Yes, there are many. The biggest conspiracy theory is that Community Warfare is not actually real, and that PGI created a Beta of a game just so they can collect Founder's money and dissolve the project. I have chatted with individuals who said they they would respect PGI much more than they currently do if PGI would come forward and admit that Community Warfare was a lie. Yes, they said that they would "respect PGI more" because they actually subscribed to this conspiracy. This was a fairly well-circulated conspiracy here on the forums, and little-to-none of its proponents are willing to apologize or back-down from their stance. They currently cite the lack of UI 2.0 as "evidence" that PGI is doing nothing to progress the game.

Bryan Ekman said that the game's Launch is tied to the release of a mostly-functional Community Warfare campaign, as that social infrastructure is intended to contribute very strongly to the game's replay value. So, I guess all we can do is wait for this Summer, keep leveling our Mechs up in preparation for the MetaGame, and enjoy the carnage when it officially Launches ;)"

actually i had this Topic with some (friends) player in TS. Just a theory of course :D But can anybody prof that there is a CW?
I mean they said nothing about that only that it will be ingame @ some point, that was months ago...
If you work on someting so hard to get it done, you want to show it to the poeple don´t you? at least tease the players with some stuff.
There must be Star maps, some kind for rewards for the players, a system that is build around the CW, anything...
It would be logic to show some of this stuff, solely from an economic standpoint as a company. But there is nothing :D
UI 2.0 was the first mentioned in October 2012 with some images, but i saw nothing about CW, thats kind of weird dont you think?...

I for one would be more at peace with the news if we had an official statement here on their main line of communication.
Along with a teaser/WIP-image on CW/UI2.0

As one of the once or twice a month ex-founders, I'd like to state that this is yet another piece of evidence that PGI does not know how to interpret data. I sign on for patches mostly and give it a go and see if it's any better, then I'm off to play games that are genuinely fun.

I like the fact that the people who are "quitting this game forever!!!!!!" and "demanding a refund right now!!!!!" and "OMGPGILIEDDEKJLKJF:lsdjkf;lakjdf;lajksfdla!!!!!" are still posting in the forums.

We get it.

Go.

Away.

For all of those promised tweaks in the far future? I'm still having fun playing this game, so I'm willing to wait. I'm sure, no matter what MWO does, I'll eventually get bored and go do something else, but I'm not there yet.

I still like stomping around in big, stompy robots, and I still get a {Noble MechWarrior} flutter in my stomach playing a game I used to play on the tabletop in my early teens.

Do I want to see UI2.0? Sure.

If I don't see UI2.0 on launch will I leave? Nope. It would be nice, but I've been navigating the current version for months. It's clunky, but it works.

Do I want to see Community Warfare (CW)? Yup. I really, really, really want to shoot at other Houses' stompy robots with real consequences and, later, be on the front lines for the Clans invasion.

If CW isn't part of the launch package, will I leave? Nope. Still having fun with the capture-the-flag/team deathmatch games. For now. Like I said above, I'll eventually get bored of that. Right now, I'm leveling up my last Spider to Master and it has been a HUUUUUUGE grind that's kind of burned me out. But I'll be back once I fire up Orions.

I don't know, guys. I get the anger, but this is a game. If you don't like it or you don't like where it's going or you don't trust the company that's making it, why are you still here? There are GOBS of other games out there.

Don't worry you have only been playing since April so you haven't been waiting for that long to get some of these shiny bobbles, but in six months or a year from now after the goal posts have been moved for the 17th time you to will join the dark side.

So literally the only thing to expect at launch is the orion for C-Bills. I was right all along, it was a giant hoax and there were never going to add anything. MWO was feature complete from Open Beta. All that has changed is 12v12 and **** Person view.

WHAT SAY YOU NOW DENIERS?!

Fairly accurate synopsis. I listened to the first 30 minutes of the NGNG podcast where UI 2.0, CW and DX 11 were discussed then turned it off in disgust.

UI 2.0 and CW are pretty much the only thing worthy of distinguish the game as launch ready. So what are they actually doing for the "official" launch of the game? : /

It's a synopsis of an NGNG podcast. What's strange is that it wasn't on Bryan's Twitter account first.

TBH, that's par for the course for any info about this game that is remotely "official".

Been like that for a while unfortunately...

I listened to the podcast over lunch. This feels like part of the effort to communicate more openly with the playerbase which is admirable if not a little late. Mostly though it is unfortunate to actually hear about the delays to expect for the big features. Still better to know that we won't be fighting for control of the Innersphere anytime too soon.

Hopefully they have a surprise for us on the 17th or else launch will feel a little meaningless...

I stopped playing after the 3PV fiasco and getting jump-sniped by someone using 3PV while being unable to effectively return fire. I didn't want to play in games with people in 3PV in the first place, and this was the nail in the coffin.

Despite that, I keep coming back to the site hoping for good news, but, instead, the news keeps getting worse and worse. This is just another wonderful example.

It's coming up on the point where I'll probably stop checking the site at all and put MWO behind me for good. That saddens me, because I really loved the game at one point. Unfortunately, bad decision after bad decision by PGI drove me away, as well as the lies and broken promises.

I'm sure they know exactly what the data means. They are just trying to spin it to look better than it is.

So... the silent majority is essentially saying:

"You whiners suck! Get out or be happy! Stop talking like there is anything wrong with these things you pretend to have an issue with!"

Jeez. If this passive-agressive mess is the silent majority/core audience, any form of community activity will sure be fun.

No - that's not at all what I'm saying.  What I'm saying is that the rather vocal few that have been harping on this game as long as I've been active on these forums are...

STILL HERE.

If you threaten to leave and threaten to leave and threaten to leave, and then just keep posting and playing, you're just blowing steam.  If you're going to leave, pack your bags and go.  I'm tired of reading the constant, petulant whining.

It's a computer game.  A GAME.  I mean, if this is your one social outlet in life to come here and type furiously at developers, rarely saying anything constructive, and just going off for paragraphs about how you were lied to, and then doing that over and over and over.

Give it a rest?  Or go away?

I know if I went to a restaurant and they spit in my food or ignored me for two hours while I sat there, I wouldn't sit stubbornly at the table and scream obscenities at the other patrons and servers;  I'd go to another restaurant.

Go to another restaurant, Sidekick.  Or at least stop posting the same thing over and over.

50 c-bills that they still manage to break the client at launch (even with zero new features).

What's strange is that the "norm" is news being presented on reddit/twitter/NGNG before their own website in general.
