Jags are one of best chassis in the game, IMO.

They're very agile and can pack a metric sh*t ton of firepower. But, yeah...they usually have to run XLs to take advantage of that, which makes them rather squishy with their larger sides. I guess it just depends on your play style.

It's chemistry not car terminology

A Catalytic Converter is actually a car part, but what I think he missed is that they used it as a play on words. The Cataphract hero mech is on sale and they have a sale on EXP to GXP conversions.

A terrible pun though.

Ouch! Lesson learned though. Never buy anything on sale day until they announce the sale.

If it makes you feel any better, I know someone that spent all their MC converting XP this week. Then they announced the conversion sale. I received a "Damn you for being right" message this morning.

I love how Hero mechs tend to come up on sale when a meta that can abuse them is so rife... UAC boats, the both of them with maybe PPC's or LL on the Firebrand.

I'll just convert more of my Dragon Slayer EXP then with the spare MC, hoping that new modules will come out that are... more unique.

It's ok. I bought the Firebrand when it came out, so I got the Ilya on sale to make up for that. ;D Even though it's so ugly, it's starting to grow on me.

That's what I've been doing, I always convert a {Scrap} load of Mech exp to GXP during the double conversion sales. I like to keep a nice hefty pool of GXP available for when new modules do come out. If I buy too much GXP, I just use a little bit to unlock Basic on some mechs.
