Ours is not to figure out what the problem is, ours is to tell PGI that we think there is a problem. They're the developers. Somewhere in the office there's a guy (or gal) who knows exactly what the problem is, they just haven't been given the chance to fix it.

I know this because I'm that guy for the company I work for, and everyone's opinion of what they think the problem is or how they think something works is typically wrong.

So back to my point... it doesn't matter what the problem is, the problem needs to be fixed by PGI.

Right you can act like a spoiled petulant 2yr old and throw a tantrum or an adult and try to be productive...
...and if the 'problem' is compounded by network latency, hmm is PGI supposed to force someone IP to change routing, upgrade lines etc when perhaps the biggest part of the problem is on the end-users side?

That implies that one would have similar issues with other mechs, if it was on the user side. I can tell you so far I have no issues with Locust and Commandos taking damage when I shoot them. They have a similar size and speed profile. Basic logic would lead me to believe that the issue lies within the Spider.

Is there probably more to it, you bet. But it is an issue, and the issue seems to be centered upon one particular mech.

Id suggest your read of the forums then.... hey, I have no problems with spiders or any others...for the most part, but I check my connection and low and behold increased jitter and packetl-loss.

I ... don't understand the first part of your post. Would you mind clarifying?

There are several threads with people talking about problems with hits registering on other mechs, lights to assaults.

I rately have problems with hit's registering, when I do.. (or i see mechs stuttering/teleporting) I test my network connection and always find a degredation in the quality of my network connection. Ie 'jitter' and packetloss.
Ex: Currently my connection shows a ping of 53ms to 71ms, with an average of 56ms.

First of all, where have I posted anywhere like a spoiled petulant 2yr old or thrown a tantrum? I have posted things I've seen with pictures, I post relevant information that I think the developers would need to know in the feedback forums.

I'm simply saying that since we are not the developers of the game, we shouldn't come to uneducated conclusions like we know what we are talking about, because we don't.

Some people are smart enough to know what they don't know...

Gotcha, right. Thanks. Your experience differs from mine in regards to this topic. I'm going to leave it at that.

Link and quote where the Dev's have confirmed Hitbox issues.

I did just that in a thread not 6 days ago, I wont waste my time doing it again. You want to read it, use the search function. There are two quotes I know about. One is in a thread depicting multiple AC20 shots on a friendly Spider. Both were on TS in a live game so they could gain the footage. The other was in some official PGI thread.

Ok lets see... http://mwomercs.com/...me/page__st__40, nope.
in fact... sept 30th and nada, in fact I went back as far as july and no no links provided by you to anything from PGI stating there are issues with Spider Hitboxes. In fact you pulled the same dodge/ploy last time you were queried for that statement from PGI. Why, because it DOES NOT EXIST.

BTW, I just got out of a game where I hit a spider in the CT with a gauss rifle and 4 medium lasers... I mean he just stood there... and he didn't go down. I really gotta start using fraps for this stuff... and too bad we don't have any logs to go by.
