I need some advice on my misery build, I feel like I could do batter like the extra .3 ton and AC10 maybe doesn't cut it but I am really unsure how well this build is.

My idea was using AC10 + LL for ranged engagement and then switching to 4 * ML and SRM6 for brawling with AC10 when heat permits.

There is no SRM6 Ammo in your Build. Use Endo-Steel not Ferro-Fibourus get you another 2,2t.

Maybe an ac20 with 2 or 3 ll and SRM6 would give your more options. :D

Try this: MISERY
2 LL, 3 ML, SRM4, and AC10.

If you want to drop a heat sink, you can put the SRM6 in instead, but I think the 4 still provides plenty of firepower, and is better for ammo.

Result is more long range punch and better overall firepower than your previous build, while providing nearly the same cooling power.

For specific critiques, Endo is ALWAYS better than FF if you have to pick 1. The single MPL seems out of place with 3 MLs, and I prefer 2 LLs if I can fit them on Stalkers. Stalkers are slow, and longer range weapons means they can engage sooner. Normally I'd throw LRMs on this, but the Misery missile tubes just won't do for that, as a single LRM 5 just isn't worth it.

Best build money can buy. The large pulse is a personal preference of mine, so you can switch them out for regular large laser if you like and use the free tonnage for either more ac20 ammo or heatsinks or bigger engine.

Swap the LRM15 for an SRM6, and you can stick 4 more DHS in there, giving you at least something you can pretend is heat efficiency.

One single srm on an assault mech? That goes against everything I believe in.

As opposed to a LRM15 that launches in 3 volleys?

Let's just stick a NARC in there and call it even :)

Not efficient, runs way too hot.

Some good stuff in the poor heat scale meta (if you ignore the U/AC which just has to be fixed):

Some old school loadout, which I still believe in (sniper with a knife for self defense)

Here is the loadout I use on Misery, which is my favorite single mech and certainly one of my most effective brawling loadouts.

You can't do any long-range fighting with this, but the LPL and AC20 can be used out to about 600m if needed. You do have to watch your ammo consumption, but even when the AC20 is empty you still carry enough power to take down almost any mech 1-on-1. Just be smart about when to make your charge (not cowardice, but you cannot engage at long ranges or cross an open fielf of sniper fire), and watch your heat levels.

Bottom line though, as others have said: drop Ferro-Fibrous and get Endosteel.

I don't own any Stalker but I assume this would work. Two LL for shooting from cover, one LPL and AC20 for CQB. Could swap LPL to LL and more heatsinks for better heat efficiency. Adjust to taste.

STD310
AC/20
5 MLs

Just a simple, straightforward wrecking ball.

I played this one for a while. It is a nice, but lacks range. Once you are in a brawl you are getting pounded by SRMs. So it is not easy to survive the round imho. The Misery is one hell of a variant to make work. I am having trouble finding a good build since I bought it.

I'm leaning toward this build, 2 LL 10AC 2 ML SRM6. and dropping the ferros for endosteel

I don't like the AC20 because they drop my ranged combat dmg by alot.

That’s the build I use on my Misery, works well for me. Use the 2x large at range to soften them up, 3x mediums and an AC20 when you’re in close to finish them off.
I personally prefer the single AC20 over an AC10 and SRM combo, less weapon groups to manage, only 1 weapon to worry about ammo for. I don’t like using single SRM launchers on big mechs, either use several for maximum effect or use something else.

Holy {Scrap}! This is an improvement on my Misery build. I'm gonna drop the SRM and Artemis to add more ammo and DHS, but wow. Thanks man!

MISERY

I don't like the ac10, too little dps, I moved toward this build now, AC20 + SRM6 (shot gun effect) + 2 ML and 2LL when heat permits and 2LL when at ranged. AC20 + SRM make short work of light mechs like spider if they mess up.

The most well rounded misery I have used has the following
2xLL
2xmedL
1xASRM6
1xLBX10
standard 300
max armor
fill the rest with DHS. Use the lasers for ranged engagements, and the LBX SRM6 combo up close coupled with lasers when heat allows is brutal. Its also a very heat efficient build
